"Looks like they're fitting right in." Alaric walked up to Hayley and Klaus, who were watching the twins talking to other kids. They all looked on with a smile on their faces.

"They're adaptable. And honestly, I think this is what they have always wanted. A normal life, friends their own age." Hayley watched her kids run around chasing eachother. This was all she wanted for her kids. To be able to have a happy childhood.

"Well, the kids here are pretty great. You know, they're accepting, eager to learn. You know, we just try to keep up. Teach them discipline, compassion, ethics." Alaric reassured the woman. He stood next to Hayley observing the kids. He might've hated the family but the point of the school was to help the kids. Kids that were innocent like the Mikaelson twins.

"Magical potions, spell casting, broomstick riding." Hayley joked looking at Alaric. She was grateful he was so accepting of her children. She didn't know what she would've done without his help.

"Yeah, well, there is some of that. I've just spent a lot of time with supernatural people who were never comfortable in who they were. These kids... these kids will do better." Alaric admitted. He was passionate about this school. And that was what made Klaus and Hayley comfortable with sending their children here despite their rocky pasts with the man next to them. They were extremely grateful for Alaric.

Little Hope and Henrik waved to their parents, They both waved back as they watched their kids interacting with some of the students. The twins looked at eachother, mischief filling their face and they burst of in a run. Running over to their parents Klaus and Hayley faintly heard little Henrik yell out 'last one there is a stinky fart face'

The pair of kids collided with their parents. Hope ran into her dad while Henrik ran into his mom.

"I win!" Henrik's voice rang out, he was out of breath.

"No, I was here first!" Hope replied, glaring at her twin. They started bickering about who was faster and who won their impromptu race.

"Are you little ones having fun?" Klaus cut the twins off from their impending screaming match he could sense was about to start. He placed both his hands on their heads and ruffled their hair a bit. They both giggle, successfully ending the argument that was about to start between the two.

"Yes!" they said in unison. Both jumping into their dad's arms.

Alaric looked around again at all the kids in the yard and saw another young girl running over. Her long hair flying behind her in the wind as her giggles got louder the closer she got.

"Ah, incoming." He chuckled. Which captured the small families attention. Causing Klaus to set down the twins down. Both kids turning to watch the girl in wonder.

"Uncle Ric! Uncle Ric!" She ran over to Alaric full of giggles and jumped into his awaiting arms. He fake groaned, telling the girl how heavy she was getting, which caused her to laugh more. He spun her around lifting her in the air.

"Hello, Fay. What's up?" He asked, setting her down. He ruffled her hair. She groaned and dogged his attacks. After he stopped she looked up at him.

"Liz and Jo were annoying me and I saw you over here talking to the new family so I decided to introduce myself and maybe make some new friends." The young girl said. She looked over to the small group nervously. Now kind of regretting coming over. She wasn't scared of them but meeting new people intimidated her. Her parents said she should try to introduce herself to new people so she could get over her fear.

She shuffled over closer to Alaric and she grabbed his hand. Alaric chuckled and looked down at the girl that was now clinging to him. He also wanted her to try to introduce herself on her own. Knowing how shy she was sometimes.

"Okay. Go ahead." He slightly guided her in front of the other two children who were watching her carefully. Klaus and Hayley was watching the interaction with a smile. Happy someone approached them as not a lot of the kids did.

The young girl slowly walked up to the twins. She thought they were both pretty and they looked nice. How hard could this be? She held her hand out.

"Hi! I'm Fayette, but you can call me Fay." She smiled. Instead of shaking her hand Hope pulled the young girl in a hug. Causing her to freeze at the gesture. The adults on looked worried seeing Fayettes face. But after a moment Fay hugged Hope back with a giant smile on her face. She didn't get many hugs from anyone besides family so it caught her off guard. But Fay didn't mind. She liked Hope.

"Hi! I'm Hope! And this is Henrik!" Hope responds, once she let go of the girl. excited at making a new friend.

"It's Henry." He grumbled, not wanting to be called by his full name. He thought it made him sound like an old person. Fay looked over at Henrik when he said that and she slightly smiled before she started blushing. She looked away and back to her uncle who was standing there amused after watching the full interaction.

"Nice to meet you."
