It has only been exactly 8 years since 32-year-old Caroline, her oldest daughter nearly 13-year-old Carolina Katerina Bonnie Forbes, and 8-year-old Arabella Elizabeth Stefanie Forbes-Mikealson all moved to Charlotte, North Carolina when Caroline went out on her night out with her friends: Katerina, Bonnie, and Stefan where she got completely wasted on vampire alcohol and slept with a complete stranger who turned out to be some type of werewolf. After that night Caroline found out that she was pregnant with her third daughter Rebecca Freya Henrika Forbes-Mikealson.

She named her third and youngest daughter after Rebekah, Freya, and Henrik, she did that because Caroline found that the guy who she slept with who by the way was wasted too was none other than the Original hybrid King of New Orleans Nicklaus Mikealson who also happens to be the father of Arabella Elizabeth Stefanie Forbes-Mikealson.
Carolina's Pov
It has been 8 whole years since we have been to Mystic Falls and now we're visiting from Charlotte, North Carolina to New Orleans. So now we are currently in mom's brand new pink convertible BMW driving back to that small hometown where all supernaturals live.

In New Orleans, we will be staying at our brand new home that has a pool outside and inside and a trampoline sticking into the ground. In the car, mom is in the driving seat, I'm in the right-hand side seat in the back, Arabella is in the left-hand side seat in the back, and my brand newborn baby sister called Rebecca Freya Mikealson-Forbes is in the front seat next mom.
While we are driving, Aunt Kat and Aunt Bonnie will be meeting us at the grill with Uncle Stefan, Nana, and Papa.
