Cutting me free from the ties, Bellatrix's evil smile gleamed at the sight of me. She dragged me by my hair and into the middle of the room, throwing me down with such force I swore my shoulder would have dislocated.
"Ah, my master's treacherous cousin," Bellatrix sneered. "No Potter here to save you think time."
"I didn't need—"
"Did I say you could talk?" she raised her voice. I said nothing. "Good. Now, we're gonna play a game!"
In the room, Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy stood behind Bellatrix with Draco in between them. I could see the concerned look on his face as he would have to stand there and watch whatever Bellatrix does to me.
"You are going to tell me how you stole the sword from me?" she growled.
"I didn't steal—"
"No, lying!"
"I'm not lying! We didn't steal any—"
"Crucio!" Bellatrix pointed her wand at me.
A million needles prodded at my skin as electricity flew through my body. I felt myself call on the floor, writhing in pain. My back arched as my mind felt like it'd been put in a blender. From far away, I could hear my name being shouted, but I had no clue who the voice belonged to. Then the pain stopped. I couldn't move from my position on my back, my limbs feeling too weak to budge.
"I'm— not— lying—!"
The pain started again. My back arched and my limbs grew ridged. It felt worse than the first time she did it. My fingers and toes stretched as the hot pain ate at my muscles and head. I wanted it to stop, but there was nothing I could do. Just as I felt my shoulder pop, the torture stopped. I groaned at the feeling in my shoulder and the previous pain.
"Draco," I cried, looking up from my position on the ground, "help me."
"Think my little nephew could help you? Wrong, Blood Traitor! Now, I'm going to ask you again! Where did you get this sword? Where?" bellowed Bellatrix.
"We found it — we found it — PLEASE!" I cried.
"You are lying, filthy Blood traitor, and I know it! You have been inside my vault at Gringotts! Tell the truth, tell the truth!"
Pain erupted in my body again and I screamed louder than I've ever screamed before. I tried to suppress my previous cries, but I couldn't this time. The feeling of hot coals being thrown over me was very prominent, along with another wave of needles.
"CHARLOTTE!" I heard my name being shouted from downstairs.
"What else did you take? What else have you got? Tell me the truth or, I swear, I shall run you through with this knife!" Bellatrix threatened.
The pain got hotter and colder at all one time. My mind felt like it had gone through a blender again. My shoulder ached more than the rest of my body. Electric currents soared through my veins and threatened to burn me.
"What else did you take, what else? ANSWER ME! CRUCIO!"
She didn't even let me enough time to answer. As pain scratched from the inside out, I tried to think of any answer that I could give. With every force in me, I tried my hardest to extend my hand out, crying as more fire burned me from within. The pain stopped. I turned and threw up next to me from the pain.
"Filthy disgusting girl! How did you get into my vault?" Bellatrix screamed. "Did that dirty little goblin in the cellar help you?"
"We only met him tonight!" I sobbed. "We've never been inside your vault... It isn't the real sword! It's a copy, just a copy!
