Chapter eight

MAX MILLER

I was in my bed when I got a new post in the feed of Instagram, Arya, a baby boy and that dude posing a selfie, I couldn't control my anger. And thank god that stupid man tagged the location.

And also thank you for Alexa. Well I went to Alexa's id and scrolled down her following id and luckly I got his and her id at the same time and created a fake account names, creepy girl, just in case.

The next thing I know was I took my motorcycle and followed the GPS and here I was seeing her running from someone, scared and bumped into the right man's chest.

"Who're you here with?" I asked her taking a step forward.

She took a step backward, nervous. I won't do anything, love. I told her in my mind like the telepathy would work.

I saw her chocolate brown eyes as the street light glowing in reflection even though her eyes were covered by glass she still looks kind of hot, the caramel skin shining under the moon light. God! She was beautiful.

I paused when there was no way for her to escape. "I-I-I" she starts to blabber.

"What?" I made a tension around the air.

"I've to go." She requested.

But I travelled all the way to here just for her. Well she doesn't know that, at least not yet.

"Answer for my questions, and then I'll leave you."

She doesn't look my eyes nodded as if she was a shy type. I'd never seen girls like this much of shy in one girl and too cute at the same time.

She nodded.

"What are you doing here?"

"Camping with my family." She answered without hesitant.

"Camping?" I asked just to clarify.

"That's what they said." She said which made me laugh.

"I didn't mean what you're doing now. I mean in America."

"For my masters."

"Which University?"

"NYU"

For each questions she asked with a snap of time and with that I saw how she was afraid of me. Then I took a step back and released her from my questions as well as from me

"May I go now?" she asked with her cute little voice whisper.

I nodded.

I turned my back and when I was about to walk from there a gentleman in me woke up from a long sleep. I turned around and found her standing in the same place where I left her.

"Need a walk?" I asked her, not waiting for any answers I started walking and I heard her footsteps behind me. I thought that was kind of cute.

The rest of the walk to her camp was silent.

Her family was a few yards away from us. She stood there awkwardly for a minute before saying, "You wanna join us?"

"Are you sure? Cause I don't want a stalker in your family business." I said sarcastically. Well... Alexa told me about her stalker but she didn't know that was me and who was also cheating on her? No, she's not even my girlfriend to cheat, technically if I was cheating on someone that'd be on Chloe.

"Alexa, told you." she let out a nervous smile. "Sorry. Since you're her boyfriend, I'll make it up to you. And I'm so sorry." she said. "Please join us. Wait, are you here with anyone? Just feel free to invite them in."

"Nah, I came here alone."

Then she introduces her aunty and uncle who hates when she mentioned them like that and switched it into Kamala and Amit. Her baby cousin name Adi-th-ya, I couldn't pronounce it right but he giggled when I tried saying his name. And the last but not least, that dude in always angry face whenever he sees me, Akash, he didn't smile at me and when I extent my hand he refused it, when Arya nudged him he gave a annoyed look and took my hands. While shaking it I smirked like a devil which nobody knows.

"Arya, I didn't know you've a hot friend." She said looking at me.

I saw Arya who's now smiling at Kamala like leave this topic already. "He saved me from a scary man, today." she said changing the topic.

Well... that's a good topic to seek attention, her aunt eyes went wide like what she would say to her parents if something happen to her. "When?"

"A few minutes ago." She tried to say a whole story, think that's her style of talking I guess, but Akash interrupted by the beginning.

"And how did he find you?" He snapped.

"I bumped into him, technically. And then I felt bad" she said that with a little stress so that he can understand what she was trying to prove here. And I kind of like how she's trying to escape from is little trap situation of hers.

I smirked at her for no reason which obviously she couldn't see.

"What are you doing here by the way?" Akash snapped a trick question at me. How am I supposed to answer for that one?

"This is my favorite destination. Whenever I feel low I used to come here and spend my time alone." I said. Akash seems like he won't give a shit.

When Arya found a tension in the air she took a glass and tossed, "To Alexa and Max, the beautiful couple." I just looked at her and said nothing.

And I saw someone was happy. "They both dating?" Akash let out a relieved sigh.

"Yes,"

Let them think like that for now. And Mr. I'm gonna steal your girl. Well, your crush, at least.

I smirked and raised my glass full of H2O(water) and tossed as her uncle and aunty laughed. They don't have alcohol because it's a family's day out. And also Arya seems like she'd never tasted a wine before. That's good to know about her.

I got a call from Chloe. I just declined it and concentrated on Arya's smiling and blushing for no reason at the same time.
