•3rd POV•
When Ink showed Frisk the reset button, she looked pretty unamused. It was an actual large red button that had the word "reset" engraved onto the top. Frisk glanced over at Ink with a glare.
"You're kidding... Right?"
Ink looked at Frisk then at the large button. He seemed pretty dead serious about the matter.
"No, this is it," Ink cleared his non existent throat.
Error shook his head, rubbing the bridge of his nose."Really? It doesn't even have good security if it's THAT dangerous," Frisk waved her hand right over the rope fence of what they had at a museum exhibit.
"Hey, low budget security here. Because usually we don't get stupid people. And if we do, they aren't my problem anymore because they go- bye bye," Ink smiled sarcastically.Frisk stared at the large button and reached out for it.
"So I can touch it? That way I won't be your problem anymore," she was about to touch it but Ink quickly ran and got his body in between her and the button.
His ribcage pressed against her chest as he snatched her wrist up and pushed it above her head out of instinct.
"No, no, no, don't touch," he gave her a scolding.Frisk blinked in surprise at how fast the male was, looking up at him. She giggled at his distressed look and watched as he swiftly dropped her wrist and gently moved her away when seeing how close he was.
"God get married, have kids together already!" Error shouted at Ink who flustered once again.
"Can it, Error!" Ink snarled at the male who made a glitched out heart out of air and mockingly blew it at him as if he was blowing a kiss.Frisk rolled her eyes as the two argued. Mostly Ink scolding Error and Error making fun of Ink.
She bit her lip as she slowly went back towards the button. She wanted to be with Sans. She missed him. Now that she thought of it, he was probably very lonely because her and Papyrus had both died.
"Frisk! How would you like to join me for dinner? Don't worry, Error isn't invited," Ink smiled forcefully before flipping the bird at Error.Frisk seemed uncertain, looking at the reset button then looking back at Ink who seemed genuinely serious about dinner.
"Like a date..?" She asked with a grin.
"You could... Call it that," Ink chuckled sheepishly.
"It's a date," Error butted in without hesitation.
"Error! I will end you!" Ink said through his gritted teeth.
"I'd like to see you try~" Error smirked."Honestly. I miss my Sans. I wanna go home to him. I miss the way he holds me and tells me puns and... Just loves me," Frisk frowned sadly, looking over at the button. "I want to be with my family again," Frisk said with a sad look upon her features.
Ink felt bad when she looked so upset about the whole situation. He was also a little jealous of this other Sans."Well, you wouldn't want to hurt your friend Papyrus or this other Sans by hitting the reset, would you?" Ink placed a bony hand on her shoulder.
Frisk frowned, slowly sinking to the ground on her knees.
"We have all already been hurt. I just feel like if I don't hit it, Sans will be all alone, forever," she whimpered. "Unless he killed himself," she mumbled, and shook her head. "Which i wouldn't want." She hugged herself tight and closed her eyes."I can't do this anymore!" Frisk yelled in frustration.
She slid under the barrier and slammed her hand down on the reset button.
"FRISK! No!" Ink freaked out but it was far too late...•Frisk's POV•
Have you ever felt so alone you were physically cold..?
Or when you're really scared and your heart burns like it's ripping at your chest trying to break free?
That's what it feels like right now. Like a compressor that just keeps on pressuring your body. It was dark.
Really dark.
So dark it felt as if I had stumbled in a cave and fallen to my death. It was awfully quiet too, only the sound of my uneven breathing. I hugged myself, for I could not see... Until I opened my eyes for I was sitting somewhere dark but where light could be reached.
I shivered, seeing snow surround my feet to shin deep. My teeth chattered and I rubbed my forearms. Looking up, all around me was a dark forest, a single street lamp I sat beside on a snowed covered bench.
The light was dim and flickering as if it would go out soon. I blinked the icicles that froze to my eyelashes away, looking for any sign of life.
"Ink...?" I looked around."Error?" It seemed to get colder.
"Papyrus..?" It got darker.
"...Sans..?" Nothing but the whistling wind replied to me.
I slowly stood up, my legs feeling so stiff I almost couldn't feel them at all. When I stood up, I yelped in surprise to see words hovering in front of me like a video game.
'Would you like to select a previous save?'
I stared at the words in awe. It took me a moment to process before I reached my hand up hesitantly.
Yes< No
I gasped at the log of "loading save options" there was. It was all memories from my childhood. But instead I went all the way back to the day I was taken back with Sans and Papyrus. Small and innocent I was, didn't understand why my parents never loved me.
"I'm coming Sans, Papyrus..." I gulped, my hand shakily rising to that day.
When I put my hand on it, electricity sparked through it and through my hand. Suddenly there was a loud "ZAP" and I was thrown flying backwards. I screamed, expecting to fall in snow but instead found myself falling in a dark chilling abyss. My screams echoed as my world went dark again.
