•3rd POV•

Frisk's mouth opened in surprised. She didn't realize others knew about when she hit the reset button.
"Well. I. Uh- how'd you know?" Frisk blurted out, pulling her face away from him since he was hurting her jaw.
"You think this is my first reset kid?" Sans asked, going over to the bed and sitting on the edge of it.

"...Yes?" Frisk answered with doubt in her voice.
"Well, you're dead wrong," he scoffed, falling back with his hands behind his skull. "You know how many times this day has repeated? Three-hundred and fifty times. You know why?" He looked over at Frisk who was beside herself.

She was almost afraid to ask.
"Why..?"
"Because Chara can't throw me and my family a bone, and leave us alone. She's killed you in every single way possible. She's burned you alive, froze you to death, poisoned you, blew you up, put you through a wood-chipper, beheaded you, tore you inside out, drowned you, choked you-"

"Ok! Ok! I get it!" Frisk put a hand over her mouth feeling like she was gonna throw up. "So I die more than once...?" She asked hesitantly.
"Well, yeah... Of course you do. Don't you remember?" Sans asked.

"No. I only remember dying once. And it's years from now when I'm older," Frisk scratched her chin.
"...You never make it past 13..." He grumbled, rubbing his eye sockets tiredly.
"...Well I made it past that before so maybe this is the last time? I just never expected to reset so far back in time..." She mumbled to herself.
"Because the world can't handle a bunch of resets! With how much a person resets, it messes up timelines, you're boned kid!" He groaned angrily.

"Sans! Drop the puns!" Frisk slapped his skull lightly.
He instinctually grabbed the spot she hit him and rubbed it.
"I can't help it, I joke more when I'm nervous. My bones are shaking-" he shivered which caused his bones to clatter together a bit like wind chimes but clearly bones rattling.
"Hilarious..." She rolled her eyes before she just jumped up onto the bed and crawled into his sternum, snuggling him right. "I've missed you Sans- so much has happened I-" before she could continue, Sans quickly put a finger against her lips, hushing her.
"Don't tell me. I don't want to know. It will screw up everything. It's bad enough we were talking about timelines so openly after all... Tibia honest, it's dangerous," he sighed, letting one arm wrap around her small frame to rub a skeletal hand through her hair.

"But... For the record. I missed you too kiddo..." He turned on his side to face her, caressing her cheek gingerly with his free hand.
She smiled sadly and buried her face into his ribcage. She felt calm being back into his arms once again. It had been a long time since she felt at ease. This felt like a time she could start her life over... Laying there, she just eventually closed her eyes, completely comforted by his presence.

Small TimeSkip~

It seemed that the young Frisk had slept longer than expected. Sans words did sink in pretty hard though. Three-hundred and fifty times was pretty awful. She must have done every death trick in the book and off the page. The girl gasped for air when having a nightmare that made her sit up suddenly. Her chest heaved heavily, sweat trickled down the side of her temple and her eyes wide. They darted about the room before she looked down at Sans who was peacefully sleeping.

His skeletal arm was rested over her waist before slipping down to her lap when she had seated herself up. With soft sniffles, she cleared her tears with her wrists. She was so small again, now being an older young lady in a child's body felt so wrong and weird. She leaned down, placing her tiny lips upon Sans' skull before sliding out of bed. She slipped her small feet into Sans' pink slippers to keep her feet warm as she shuffled out of his room. Although, it was so messy it was like going over an obstacle course.

She made her way quietly downstairs where it was empire and the only noise was Papyrus' impeccable snoring and the whistling wind from outside, blowing over the snow that was packed onto the ground.
She grabbed a glass of water and filled it with tired eyes. She almost spilled it from falling asleep standing there.
She turned her back to the kitchen window, just as a shadow had passed by swiftly.

With no idea of what lurked outside, a heavy presence weighed over Frisk. She suddenly felt as if she were being watched but tried her very best to ignore it. Her hands cupped the glass in her hands as she went over to ensure the door was locked just for safety measures before she shuffled over towards the couch and turned on the TV with the remote on the coffee table. She needed to get her mind off of whatever nightmare that made her almost shit her pants.

Static buzzed on the TV at first before it began to clear away and the muffled noise became clear. She almost forgot that all that played was Mettaton... Because of Papyrus' obsession with the show. But luckily, since the barrier was broken, they had gotten more channels which made her start flipping through.
A pair of eyes peered in the house, watching Frisk from behind. There was a tap on the glass window a few times which made Frisk freeze out of fear.
She scrunched into a ball upon the couch and felt the hairs on her neck stick up. She tried to brush it off as a bird but then there it was again;

Tap...tap...tap...

Frisk knew something was trying to get her attention and she felt like calling out for Sans or Papyrus but her voice was stuck in her throat. Her eyes flickered to the staircase, feeling unsafe where she sat as she set down her cup. Out of fear, when hearing the doorknob start to jiggle she bolted for the stairs as fast as she could, trying to reach Sans' door.
"SAN-!!!" She tried to scream but a dark hand clasped over her mouth, drawing her back into the dark...
