Chapter 1

—Ba Sing Se—

"Tahno, you can't just walk out on us man" Mako said as he watched the boy pack his guitar into the case "we're about to go on tour in less than 2 Months!" He tried stoping Tahno from leaving the studio.

"I'm sorry guys but I can't do this, I don't have the time anymore, I have a baby on the way and I need to prove to my girlfriend's mother I'm worthy of being a father. You guys are going to have to do this without me" Tahno said in a saddened voice "it was fun guys, I'll keep in touch" he left through the door

"Wait!" Mako was too late to stop the boy "shit, what are we going to do now?" Mako said with frustration in his voice. Bolin and Kai looked at each other saddened at the lost of their lead electric guitarist.

—Republic City—

"GUYS GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE!!!" Opal shouted in Asami's living room staring deeply into the TV. "Where's the fire?!" Jinora joked as her and Asami sat on the couch since Opal was laying stomach down on the floor. Opal grabbed the remote and put up the volume of the TV.

"Tahno James has officially quit The Fire Ferrets, that's right, the lead Guitarist has left the boy band 2 months before the tour. What does this mean now? Will there still be a tour or is it canceled? Will the Fire Ferrets find a replacement or is the band breaking up? What was Tahno's reason for leaving and are we going to see more of him? "I thought you were looking for a movie" Asami said laying down on the couch putting her legs on top of Jinora's. Opal snapped her head towards Asami giving her a glare "are you serious Asami?! One of the greatest bands in the world just lost their lead singer and guitarist who also had an amazing voice and you're worried about a movie?!"

"Opal it's not that serious, he wasn't even that good anyways, if it wasn't for the beat backing him up he would sound like shit and the only thing really saving him was how he played the electric guitar" Asami crossed her arms rolling her eyes as she said her statement, which earned a glare from both girls. Yeah I'm definitely going to get my ass kicked again Asami thought as the 2 girls kept their eyes on her.

"And to think I was going to get us tickets" Opal crossed her arms

"REALLY?!" Jinora sat up

"Girl No...they're sold out" Opal whined "and I'm broke."

—Back and Ba sing Se—

"I'm home!" Korra shouted to notify her parents as she walked into the house and placed her keys on the counter, she slipped off her book bag placing it on the floor as she opened the fridge for a Gatorade. She heard foot steps coming towards her "welcome back sweetheart" her mother said with her father behind her rolling luggage "please keep the house clean while we're away"

Korra knitted her eyebrows in confusion "you're leaving again? You just came back 2 days ago" Korra pointed out. Her mother and father, Senna and Tonroq, would always leave for business trips that lasted days sometimes weeks since they were both archaeologists which meant they traveled a lot "I know we just made another discovery and we have to follow through with it, I promise when I get back we can have a girls night, okay?" Her mother said rubbing hand on Korra's arm. Tonraq joined in the conversation "Yeah, and if there's time, we can have a daddy daughter date" he said happily only to earn a saddened nod

"How long will you guys be gone for?" Korra asked. Tonraq placed is hand on her shoulder "just a couple of weeks, we'll keep you updated" he said in a warm voice earning a nod.

"No parties and don't do anything I wouldn't do" her mother said sternly then smiled giving her a hug. They said their good byes and her parents were off.
