"So how did it go?" Kuvira asked her best friend who was walking out the building.

"I don't know" Korra shrugged and packed her guitar in the trunk of Kuvira's car and hopped in the passenger seat "oh come on I want details" Kuvira got in the drivers seat and looked at Korra "what they say?"

"They said 'that was great, we'll give you a call'" Korra said trying to impersonate the younger kid "at first they thought I was a fan girl but I had to correct them"

"Oh god what did you say?"

"I said I didn't know who they were and my first time listening to them was yesterday" Korra said with a shrug

"Korra, if you get in or not. I am proud of you"

The boys made their way home which was a pretty large place with a pool and a patio in the back and a indoor gym.

"Alright who made it on the list?" Mako asked seating on a beanbag tossing a ball up and down. Kai and Bolin took a seat on the couch across from Mako.

"Okay we have Iroh II, Hector, Jake, Sam, Josh, Mateo and Korra" Kai announced making Mako drop his ball "wait the girl?" Mako asked "you're kidding right?"

"She was the best one" Bolin argued "is there a problem?"

"Oh let me see, She's a female, she's not a boy, she's a girl... she's a she!"

"So? She's something different" Kai pointed out "everyone on this list has a problem, Iroh's too stiff, Hector sings too low, Jake plays the fucking harmonica... look we can teach Iroh to be more out going, Hector to have the confidence to sing louder and with Jake, we can give him lessons on the guitar, but we don't have the time to show them...we have zero complaints about Korra other than she's a girl" Kai argued getting up and grabbing the remote for the TV and turning it on

"And I'm not complaining" Kai added about the girl.

"Desperate times calls for desperate measures" Bolin repeated what Kai said earlier.

"Whatever, if you guys need me I'll be in my room" Mako rolled his eyes heading towards his room with the audition tapes "I'll have to figure this out on my own" he groaned closing the door

He listened to the audios and watched the videos, everyone did a cover but Korra, she did her own song and it was pretty good and Mako found himself humming it as he was looking through the tapes to see which one to play next. He looked at the tapes with one labeled 'Korra' he grabbed it and put it into his TV.

"Hi I'm Korra, I'm 18 and I mainly play the electric guitar" Korra's voice came from the TV

"Are you a fan girl or something?" Mako heard himself talk "cause we don't want you wasting our time"

"Fan girl? No, I barely listened to you guys yesterday, I didn't know who you were"

"Don't mind him, he's just frustrated we haven't found someone yet, please, begin when you're ready" Kai said

Korra's electric guitar wowed the boys but Mako didn't want to admit it, but now that he's alone listening to it he couldn't help but smile and her voice was the cherry on top.

Mako took out the tape and held it in his hand then heard the door crack open "did we find our guy yet?" Bolin asked peeking his head inside Mako's room. Mako smiled "no, we found ourselves a gal"

"YES!!!" Bolin was excited "KAI CALL KORRA!" He shouted running back to the smaller boy.

Kai didn't have to be told twice, he jumped up grabbing the tablet looking for Korra's information she left behind. He dialed the number and got no answer. He tried one more time and failed again "she's not answering"
