Elsa
"You know I wouldn't mind if you slept in my room tonight. I could always sleep somewhere else again." Jack said as he tucked her into her new bed. She had to admit this was a pretty nice room as she looked around at its soft lavender walls and white trimmings. In the corner tucked against the far wall was a tall white dresser and to left of that was a flat box thingy hanging on the wall right across from the bed that Jack called a "TV." The blanket she was tucked into was soft with pretty purple flower designs on it and purple silk sheets underneath. It was nice, not as nice as what she was used to back in her old castle in Arendelle, but still pretty close.
Elsa looked back at Jack and smiled. "It's okay Jack. With all that your going to be doing with me tomorrow, it's the least I can do to give you back your room."
He shrugged casually. "I wouldn't say it's that much. All I'm doing is just taking you shopping tomorrow."
Elsa touched his hand briefly, wishing she could keep it there a little bit longer. She just couldn’t believe that she was actually able to touch him again, and she just wanted to keep this memory of it in her mind incase she never got to again.
Incase I lose him.....again.
Elsa rubbed his hand with her fingertips before slowly letting go. "I would say it's a lot more then that. You and your family have taking me into your home and are taking care of me,....and that means more to me then you can possibly know."
He smiled and looked down before looking back up at her. "Well, it's about time someone has taken care of you. You have been on your own for a while now, so you deserve this." He patted her hand, touching it a bit longer then he had to before pulling away and getting up. He scratched the back of his neck as he looked around. "So, the bathroom is just down the hall and if you need anything just let me know, my room is just across from it."
Elsa watched as he backed his way up to the door as he talked and just barely stopped herself from following him. She didn't want him to leave her now that she was finally with him, but she didn't want him to feel like she was dependent on him either.
I kinda am right now....., but I don't want to smother him by being around him constantly. I need to work on giving him some space while I'm here.
She wasn't sure she would be able to that but she had to try, so Elsa gave him a little smile and nodded. "Thank you Jack."
He smiled back. He then turned and opened the door but suddenly stopped and turned back to face her. "Oh, I almost forgot. My mom left you some of her clothes to wear when we go shopping tomorrow on the dresser." He nodded at the white dresser with some neatly folded clothes sitting on top and boots next to it.
Elsa smiled at the women's thoughtfulness. She never even thought about what she was going to wear tomorrow, but it looked like Emily had.
These people are really sweet.
Elsa looked back at Jack. "Thank you. I really appreciate what your parents are doing for me."
Jack chuckled. "No thanks necessary. My parents are just doing what any good Samaritans would do for another in need."
Elsa looked down and picked at the blankets. "I think it's a lot more then that. Your parents are truly one of a kind. You are one of a kind Jack." She looked back up ay him from under her lashes.
Jack's cheeks started to turn a little red before he coughed and looked away. "Oh I wouldn't say that." He chuckled and looked up at her before giving her a soft smile. "Good night Elsa." He gave her a little wave before slowly closing the door behind him.
