Chapter 11 - Healing

Jenna woke up the a few days later and stretched. Time to get out of bed and get ready for the day. Looking at the time, she had to head off for work. Pulling the blinds up and then walking over towards the mirror where she saw her hair a little messy. It was down right now. She only put her hair up after she woke up.

Blondie yawned and stretched and walked over to the shower. I wonder how he's doing? Chances are he left for work. But, hmmm.

Jenna had an idea. Using her abilities, she turned invisible and went through a few walls to check on his apartment. When at his kitchen and living room there was nothing. But at his bedroom found a man in bed resting with a cold compress on his head. Common cold or what?

Is he actually sick or is it one of those times where men are babies? I guess I'll check on him when I'm dressed.

Jenna swooped back to her apartment and got straight in the shower. She smiled as she got clean. Thinking that she was going to swoop in and play nurse to the man she had interest in. The short blonde could almost dance as she thought she had a ticket to get in. With all of it out of the way, Jenna was able quickly wash, get dressed into some pink scrubs, and now it was just to do a mirror check before work. Her hair in pigtails, makeup done, and then it was time for a second trip.

As excited Jenna was to see (FN) sick in bed, she drifted over to his bedroom door and became 'solid again. Knocking on it with a smile.

"Huh? Who's there?" He asked coughing.

"Hey Honey, it's Jenna."

She opened the door slowly and saw a better view of what would be her new patient. "What's your temperature?"

"103.2 F"

"Need anything sweet boy?" Cooed Jenna.

"Some soup would be great I guess. I don't have anything at the house. But what's with the getup?"

"I'm a nurse. Oh, I never mentioned it?" Pondered Jenna.

"No you currently did not." He coughed.

"I wanted to check on you before work. But I did not expect this. I will be off but beforehand I will make a call to have someone check in on you. Because I simply can't just let you lay here feebly." Jenna got her phone out of her pocket and began to search through her contacts.

"Who would that be?" He asked.

"Let's find out." She dialed as she checked her nails. "Man I'm due."

< Hello? >

"Hey girl." Smiled Jenna.

< Blondie what are you doing calling me in the morning? > Said a husky voice.

"Morning to you too Red. Come to the man's apartment. He's feeling ill and I have to go to work. You're the first person I called. So pretty please with sugar on top?"

< I'm leaving right now! >

"That's gre-" She got hung up on. Then she whistled. "Oh my, that was quick. Easy too." Jenna giggled as (FN) laid there wondering what was happening.

"Adi?" Guessed (FN).

"Nope."

"One of the girls I haven't met?" Another guess.

Jenna whistled as she was counting down in her head. Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. There was a knock at the front door. "Well, I wonder that could be?" She smirked. "Moment Hun."
