If you had told Jungkook when he woke up this morning that he would be riding a giant wolf into a den of more giant wolves, he probably would have laughed in your face.
But looking at his current situation being just that, he wasn't sure if he was dreaming or not. Coming out the back entrance of the bar, finding a giant auburn colored wolf with amber eyes that was his Hyung, seemed like it had to be a dream. Jungkook had questions, but now wasn't the time. His only goal at the moment was getting to Jimin. Even if it was just to make sure the other was okay, to settle this bad feeling he had in the pit of his stomach, he had to know. Jungkook held onto Hoseok's fur tightly, the wolf took off with alarming speed despite its size. Hoseok jumped up on the rooftops and moved from each one so easily. It seemed he wasn't kidding about his speed. That made Jungkook feel a little better about him being the bait in this situation. He was worried that Hoseok would be caught and torn apart by the other wolves, despite his confidence. Once they cleared the city and entered the woods, it didn't take long for them to reach the den of the wolves. Jungkook's heart started to pound and when Hoseok lowered down, he slid off the other's back. Hoseok looked at him and Jungkook nodded. Hoseok turned his head towards the small settlement that was the den of the wolves. Tucked away in the cover of the thick woods, his nose twitched at all the scents in the air, but he was only looking for two, Seokjin and Jimin.
"Be careful Hyung." Jungkook said.
Hoseok looked at him, nodding before he moved forward. Jungkook went to hide in the bushes, watching through the leaves. Hoseok approached the den, immediately catching the attention of the guards at the entrance. Despite their human forms, their eyes lit up amber at the sight of an intruder. Hoseok's own eyes flashed as he snarled and growled at them. Hoseok then knew the best way to catch the attention of a majority of the pack was to make his presence known. He was an exile, showing up here was suicide. Hoseok threw his head back and let his howl carry through the air. Quickly turning on his four paws, he took off and like he expected, the gates flew open, and a pack of wolves charged out after as the guards transformed and joined the hunt. That had to be a majority of the pack from what Jungkook could see. He glanced towards the opened gates and steeled his nerves before he stood and made his way towards them. Carefully, he slipped inside and made sure to keep his eyes open. Hoseok gave him a rough idea of where to look, so he headed towards the back of the den. Jungkook was scared, he wouldn't lie. What the hell could he do against one of these things, but his worry for Jimin outweighed his fear and kept his shaking legs moving. Jungkook pressed himself against a wall when he heard voices, praying he wouldn't be found out. He stilled as two males hurried by, still in their human forms, the taller of them was Seokjin unknown to him.
"It couldn't have been him...!" Seokjin said, his voice frantic.
"It sounded like him Jin." The shorter male, known as Yoongi, said.
"Coming here would be suicide!" Seokjin said.
"I know that, but I recognize Hobi's howl anywhere." Yoongi said.
Jungkook watched as they headed towards the entrance, clearly too involved in their own conversation to notice him. Jungkook let out a sigh of relief before he continued towards the back of the den. Hoseok told him to look for a hut that would be marked with a crimson paw, that would belong to the Alpha of the pack and his family. Jungkook paused when he saw it, looking around, he didn't see anyone around. Taking the chance, he ran towards it, making his way up the short set of steps and slowly pushing the flapping cloth back. It was quiet, maybe a little too quiet for his liking. Jungkook slipped inside and looked around, taking careful steps.
"Jimin?" Jungkook called gently.
Jungkook saw a few rooms sectioned off by a cloth and moved towards one.
"Jimin? It's me, Jungkook, are you here?" Jungkook called once more, this time a soft groan of pain answered him.
Jungkook's head whipped to the other room, the cloth flapping, and he saw Jimin. His eyes widened as he ran towards the other. Pushing the curtain back, he froze at the sight before him. Jimin was laying on his side, curled up slightly. His body naked and littered with the horrid signs of abuse. Bruises, claws and bite marks all over him, it was clear to Jungkook that the other had been brutalized. Jungkook felt sick. Who the fuck would do this to him!? Jungkook slipped inside, kneeling down as he tried to control his own emotions.
"J – Jimin, w – what the hell happened?" Jungkook asked, gently pulling the other towards him as he sat down on the floor, pushing Jimin's messy bangs off his face.
Jimin's head rolled back, slowly opening his eyes as his vision cleared enough for him to recognize Jungkook.
"Jun...Jungkook...? H...how?" Jimin whispered in between his pained gasps.
"It is a long story, I will tell you later, first, I am getting you the hell out of here." Jungkook said, ignoring Jimin's weak protests.
Gently wrapping the fur that Jimin was laying on around him, he shifted to stand, picking Jimin up in his arms and holding him close. Jimin was panting, his skin flushed with a fever most likely. Jungkook frowned as he buried his face into Jimin's hair for a moment.
"Don't worry, I've got you." Jungkook said.
Peeking his head out and still seeing no sign of anyone, Jungkook moved as quickly as he could carrying Jimin. Trying to be mindful of Jimin's wounds and how much pain he was in probably. Jungkook kept to the shadows of the buildings, his eyes sharp and alert. He managed to get outside of the den and headed back towards the bushes, lowering down to take a rest as he panted lightly himself. Looking down at Jimin who seemed to have passed out. Jungkook swallowed, he didn't understand it himself, but he felt a rage bubbling deep inside of him that he couldn't explain. Jungkook wanted to know who the fuck did this to Jimin so he could kill them. Startled from his thoughts by heavy footsteps, he turned his head to see Hoseok. Jungkook's eyes widened in relief, he was grateful to see the other. He was a little scratched up and bloody from a few scuffles but okay. Jungkook moved quickly, getting Jimin situated on his back before he got on too and Hoseok turned and took off back towards the city. The echo of the wolves howls in the distance. Jungkook knew this wasn't the end of it, he'd just essentially stolen from these beasts, but he would do what he had to at this point. Jimin was never going back there.
