Jimin couldn't quite explain why leaving Jungkook's side bothered him.

The human got under his skin and made him feel things he couldn't understand. He was a human, but that didn't seem to matter. If Jimin had left two days earlier, like he'd planned, maybe he wouldn't be walking into such a dangerously tense situation. As the rusted metal gates of the pack's den were opened by one of the guards, Jimin felt himself tense. The assault of various scents made his stomach turn a little. He'd been around humans for too long, wondering about the city like he was one of them. He wasn't. Jimin slipped his hands into the pockets of his jacket and lowered his head, walking over the threshold and into the pack grounds. Ignoring the strange, questioning looks of his kin, he headed straight for home. Up the steps, he pulled the flap of cloth back that acted as a door and slipped inside and a sense of relief flooded him. Safe. Jimin slipped out of his shoes as he looked around the cozy little shack. It was more of a home than any of the others, Seokjin had always been the type to value such a thing.

"Jimin!? Is that you!?" Seokjin said, coming out of the kitchen with wide eyes.

Jimin gave a small nod and smiled.

"It's me, I'm home Hyung." Jimin said, moving to slip his jacket off and set it down on one of the chairs as he walked forward.

Seokjin let out a sigh of relief, opening his arms and wrapping them around Jimin as he nuzzled his face against Jimin's hair, scenting what he considered to be his pup.

"You brat! I have been worried sick about you!" Seokjin said.

"I know, I'm sorry." Jimin said, squirming a little in Seokjin's tight hold as the older pulled back and looked down at him, clearly inspecting him.

"You look okay." Seokjin said with a pout.

"I am fine. Hobi-hyung made sure to look after me while I was in the city. He always does." Jimin said, wiggling free as he fixed his hair.

Seokjin's eyes flickered at the mention of Hoseok and he swallowed, turning to follow Jimin into the kitchen.

"Well, I was just about to finish up dinner, I hope you are hungry." Seokjin said.

Jimin peeked into the pot and the smell of Seokjin's infamous rabbit stew did have his mouth watering. He nodded as he glanced at the other.

"I've missed your cooking." Jimin said.

Seokjin smirked.

"You've been spoiled on all that junk that humans eat." Seokjin said.

Jimin shrugged a little, getting a glass of water.

"It wasn't bad, but nothing compared to what you cook Hyung." Jimin said, turning to lean against the counter as he watched Seokjin.

"Damn straight." Seokjin said, stirring the stew.

There was a moment of silence between them before Seokjin's smile faded and he side glanced at Jimin.

"You know the Alpha is going to want to see you. He has been looking for you." Seokjin said, his voice soft.

Jimin's eyes lowered, he averted his gaze as he sighed behind the half empty glass of water and moved it away.

"I know." Jimin said.

"The full moon is soon." Seokjin said.

"I know." Jimin said, frowning.

"I hope you don't plan to run off again." Seokjin said.
