Draco's PovI leaned away from Theo's outstretched arms. "You named it Percy?"
"Yeah." He said, setting it down and on the ground between us. "Isn't he great?"
"I guess," Blaise mumbled as the three of us watched Percy peck his own foot. "How does Pansy feel about this?"
I felt my eyes widen. Damn, I didn't even think about that.
This morning she was blasting lightning at it. What's going to happen if she wakes up and sees it down here with us?
Theo chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "Yeah ... she doesn't seem too happy about it."
"Judging by this morning, I'm not surprised," Blaise sighed, as he looked around the room. Most likely replaying the incident in his head.
"Is she asleep?" I asked as I peeked up the staircase.
"Yeah." Theo sighed, waving off in the direction of the dorms. "Apparently, I'm not allowed back in bed until I get rid of Percy."
"She made you pick huh?"
Theo looked down at Percy. "Yeah, she was fuming. After you guys left, I offered to get her another brush and she started shooting jinxes at me."
"Some people can't be pleased," I smirked.
"Mate, you picked the bird?"
Theo and I looked over at Blaise, who looked dumbstruck.
"Why can't I have both?" Theo laughed.
"How about the fact that one of them hates the other to the point where she almost killed us," Blaise groaned.
"We're still alive aren't we?" Theo countered, struggling not to smile.
"Theo," Blaise sighed, as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "She is going to kill all of us one day and you're going to be why."
Theo laughed and leaned back against the loveseat. "I like our chances."
"So, what happened after Blaise and I left?" I asked. "No one was at breakfast."
"Oh, yeah," Theo snorted, as he scooped Percy into his arms, "That is an interesting story." He gestured for us to follow him and led us towards the staircase.
Hesitating to get on, I waited until Theo was a good few steps ahead so that we'd be out of range if Pansy had decided to attack.
We followed him upstairs and stopped in front of a large dark oak doorway.
"Theo, why are we outside my room?" Blaise hissed from behind me.
"Pansy can get into mine," Theo said, as he looked over our shoulders towards the staircase.
I looked back at Blaise, What the hell?
He sighed and continued to watch Theo.
With Percy in one hand and a strange tool in the other, Theo turned around and grinned.
"Alright, guys keep in mind what you see here is just in its early stages okay?" He turned around and fiddled with the lock, "I still need to make a lot of adjustments."
