Living with Mihawk (Part 2)

Once back to the mansions you decided to have your meal since you had nowhere to go. You ate 3 large pancakes with 4 pieces of bacon.

Wow I'm really hungry this morning..

You thought while munching on your breakfast. "This is delicious Mihawk Thank you." You say while eating your last piece of bacon. "I have made the pancakes from scratch, it seems the new recipe I found is quite good." Mihawk said looking through a news paper once more while drinking his glass cup of wine.

Already drinking in the bright and early morning?

"So how long have you lived here?" You ask Mihawk while he takes a quick glance at you then back at his paper. "A couple years now.. Not too long.." he answered flipping a page in the newspaper. "Oh that's cool.." you answer staring out one of the windows of the mansion.

He seems very lonely out here..

"Does anyone else live with you?" You ask curiously taking your plate and bringing it to the sink to rinse. "I used to have a student but he had to soon go back to his crew.." Mihawk said folding his newspaper back together. He stands up and takes the last sip of his wine.

That's right.. Zoro was one of his students that lived with him for awhile..

"I presume you are talking about a man named Roronoa Zoro?" You ask washing your dish hearing his footsteps get closer to you. "Yes.. You are correct. Do you know him?" Mihawk asked grabbing a whine bottle from out of a cabinet in front of you. You scoot out of the way a bit for him to be able to reach easier.

"Yes, I actually had traveled with the straw hats before that and met him during his journey back to Sabaody Archipelago." You say with a proud smile while washing your dish. You rinse off the plate and put it on a drying rack. "So you have known them for awhile?" Mihawk asked curiously while pouring more wine into his glass cup.

"Yep, but I knew there captain the longest.." You say as memories come back flooding into you. "I'm sure Shanks introduced you to him.." Mihawk said leaning against the counter looking at you. You turn to look at him with a very sad smile. "Yes.. I knew all of his family as well.." you say with a sad tone looking out the window once more. "So you knew of Luffy's brother..?" Mihawk asked in amusement listening to you.

"Yep.. Actually Brothers They would always get in trouble, especially when garp would visit." You answer with a giggle thinking about them when they were younger. Mihawk then become curious. "He has more than one brother?" Mihawk asked curiously. "Well they are more of foster brothers.." you answer. "It's hard to explain.." you say hoping to not explain it to them. "Ah so I've only seen one of Luffy's brothers.." Mihawk said taking a sip of his wine. "You must be talking about Ace? I always hoped Ace would have lived up to the fullest knowing that so many people loved him.." you let out a little weakly thinking about him. "It seemed that boy had suffered a lot growing up.." Mihawk commented looking at you intensely.

You catch his eyes and stare at them for a bit. This time it was not uncomfortable for you surprisingly. "Yes.. He would always come back from hanging out somewhere all beat up.." you answer feeling hurt thinking about it. "I'm just glad Ace is in a better place now.." you mention holding your arm a bit.

"I'm sure he is.." Mihawk said finishing up his wine in on gulp. You stare at him very confused. "How the hell do you drink so much wine and not get as drunk as you did last night.." you ask in shock and watching as he looks at you. He stares at you in amusement for a bit. "Oh? So you do remember what had happened yesterday?" He asked raising a brow.

You feel your face start to grow hot. "W-well n-not everything! Just before everything w-went black." You stutter quite a bit struggling to say anything. He puts his glass wine cup in the sink and grabs his newspaper. "Would you like to go to an island with me? I need to grab more updated news.." Mihawk asked throwing the paper in the trash. "U-Um sure!" You answer quickly making sure your outfit looked alright.

"Alright let's leave now, I have some things I have to get to as well.." At that very moment you watch him put on his coat. This whole time you didn't realize the man was shirtless. You began to turn red, you could tell because you felt a little hot.

You turn quickly and head for the door. You could hear the click of his shoes get closer behind you. "Alright we can get you some clothes as well.. Who knows how long it'll take shanks to get back here.." He said opening the door letting you go out first. You give him a quick thanks and head out with him following you close behind. He soon gets in front of you and shows you the way to his ship.

Well wasn't really a ship.. You had expected from a warlord they would have quite a big ship but no. It was a small boat that had a large cross on it that held one sail. You stare at it in disbelief with your jaw almost dropping. You watch as he jumps on and turns to look at you. "You'll be fine.. It has room.." he said knowing what you had been thinking at that exact moment.

"A-alright.." you answer quickly jumping on.

Y/n.. You should not be acting shy in front of a warlord.. You are strong too! Don't seem like a lower level because you probably could be stronger than the best swordsman there is!

You watch as he sits in the middle. It seems the boat was made to only have one seat for him in the middle of the tiny boat. "There's no where else to sit so just sit next to me for now." Mihawk said leaving you some room.

God that's not enough space..

"Alright.." you quickly sit next to him making sure to have some type of room in between the both of you.

Oh boy.. This is gonna be a long awkward trip..
