The morning after, both friends were once again sitting at their special point staring over the skyline as the sun began to rise.

“We should get going, as I need to start moving my stuff out before my dad kicks off” Y/N speaks up, breaking the silence.

“Speaking of Satan himself, have you heard from him at all?” Willie asks.

“Nope, which is kinda weird as usually, he likes to have the last word.”

“Well, hopefully, that means he’s busy and won’t bother us while we get my stuff.”

The two friends arrive outside the female’s house, having borrowed one of Willie’s parent’s cars.

“His car isn’t here, that’s strange.” Y/N points out, “He should be back from work and he never leaves this early.”

“He probably left so you could collect your stuff without him having to see you.” Willie attempts, trying to make the situation better.

“Oh yeah, I forgot, he doesn’t want to see me” Y/N replies, sarcasm rolling off her tongue like a second language, accompanied with an eye roll.

They enter and exit the house multiple times bringing all of Y/N's belongings they could carry.

"What happened to your guitar?" Willie asks, holding up his friend's guitar which was being held together with duct tape.

"Oh, he broke that ages ago. He heard me playing and smashed it into the ground. "

“Okay?...”

They continue to pack boxes full of the girl’s stuff and carried them out to the car until the vehicle was fully loaded. Both returning to the house to check they had everything.

“Hey Y/N, I think I know where your dad’s at.” Willie points out, holding up a poster he found on a table in the kitchen.

“That would make sense, fame always comes before family when it comes to him

“That would make sense, fame always comes before family when it comes to him.” She responds.

“Come on, it says he has a new trick, maybe he’ll make himself disappear forever?” Willie jokes, earning a smile from his friend.

“A girl can dream, Wills, a girl can dream.”

(Hey, so I’m assuming they are around 17 meaning they can drive or well at least one of them can :) )
