Naruto's POV
I'm tired.
We're all damn tired.
Why am I even friends with Sakura?
"Are you really our friend Sasuke? Please, let us have our break!" Lee cried.
Those two are testing our patience. We've been working on their Despedida de soltera; that's going to happen tonight for their family. And guess what time it is, ten ò clock in the morning. The event starts at 5 ò clock in the evening, what the hell is wrong with them?
"And you, Naruto, why are you not defending our welfare?"
"Dude, what do you think? I'm scared of Sakura, that's why." I answered while carrying the chairs to their respective places. "The same thing with Sasuke; he's afraid of his future wife. So, don't bother questioning us, Lee."
Sakura threw an unidentified thing at me because of my remark, making me fall to the ground. "What the hell, Sakura?" I said as I touch my head. Then I purposely fell again and started acting, "I can't stand now. Someone, please, take over my duty." Only to feel Sasuke's hand pinching my ears, forcing me to stand up.
"Stop acting, Naruto, that's only Sakura's sandals that hit you."
"Sakura's sandals?! Man, have you seen those sandals? It's a killer." He smiled as if he knew how hard those things are, or he actually– "Of course, I've seen them too. She also threw them at me, the same sandals, Naruto. The same sandals." I get it. That's why he's keeping his mouth shut. I pat his shoulder.
"Hey, get back to work, Naruto!" Sakura yelled.
"Okay, okay. No need to shout."
I observed everyone as they do their duties, and I'm amazed at how we all worked together. We (I) whine, but we make sure we do our respective chores for Sasuke and Sakura because we don't want this event to fail. And I'm pretty sure they also do not want the guests to disappoint.
Shion is an exemption to do some of the duties. As of the bride's order, she still needs to rest because we may not predict what could happen.
Ino, the maid of honor, is not doing anything but stand and give out tasks. "Sakura, I told you placing the flower arrangments on that side does not reach my standard of aesthetics. It would be best if the buffet table or–" and there she goes, arguing with the bride.
A few hours passed with tons of tasks were given when a familiar face appear, Neji.
"Hey, Neji! Long time no see!" Lee cheered as the man steps into the venue.
Lee hugs him tightly while Neji struggles to get out of his arms.
"What are you talking about? We've seen each other last week." Neji said as he push Lee's face away from him. As he steps back, he bumped into someone. "Ouch! You crazy ass!"
"Tenten!"
"I know you missed me too, but we need your help to get our stuff." Lee did a salute gesture and ran out of the room.
Then the person I have been yearning to see, since that day, walked in.
"Oh my gosh! Hinata, I am so glad you came for this important occasion." Sakura ran to her and hugged her. "Well, I can't miss the wedding of the century."
They let go and suddenly her eyes shifted to me. Surprisingly, she smiled.
Really? After what I've done?
