Haley's POV

Walking to school this morning, I was tired as hell. I was awake ALL NIGHT worrying about what was going to come out of tomorrow, which is now today, of course. Today me and Becca are putting the last part of our plan into action. Getting me and Hudson to hook up. To add to my tiredness, I was super nervous too. What will Hudson's reaction be when I start trying to hook up with him?

Walking to my locker after first period, I was super excited. I have second period with Hudson!!!! Squeeeeeeee!!!!! Even though I usually space out in second period, daydreaming about Hudson, today's second period is going to be different.

I quickly opened my locker, completely forgetting that I had stuffed it full of old schoolwork. Almost everything spilled out onto the empty hallway. Well, almost empty. By a sheer stroke of luck, Hudson was at his locker too, only three away from mine.

Being the gentleman he is, he ran over to help.

"I didn't know you were a hoarder," Hudson says jokingly.

"Well, yeah, yesterday afternoon I cleaned out all my folders, but I forgot that I stuffed it all in here." I said nervously.

I'm actually talking to him! THE Hudson! OMG!

After chatting for a while, we walked into second period right before the bell rang. Since we were the last two to walk into the classroom, there were only two seats left, next to each other in the left corner of the back row. Sitting down together, me and Hudson gave our attention to the teacher, Mrs. Kopterf. Realizing that this lesson was going to be a boring lecture by the boring Mrs. Kopterf, we passed notes.

Hudson-Why is she so boring?

Haley-Cuz she's old. Duh.

Hudson-Let's play a game.

Haley-Do u have one in mind?

Hudson-Yep. do u know the game "Up Close and Personal?"

Haley-Yeah. Why tho?

Hudson-Because I barely know u.

Haley-Okay. I'll go first. Favorite song?

Hudson-Uptown Funk. Favorite sport?

Haley-Gymnastics. Favorite color?

Hudson-Neon Green. Okay, we both know this is gonna get real boring. I'm just gonna cut to the personal part. Boyfriend?

Haley-Never had one. Have u had a girlfriend?

Hudson-Tons. Most of them I've had to dump because they were being bitches. But I'm single now. How come you've never had a boyfriend?

Haley-There is one person I have my eye on, so I don't let anyone else take me.

Hudson-Cute. Who's the special guy?

Just as Hudson passed that note to me, the bell rang, signaling the end of second period. I quickly packed up and read the note. Walking out, I sped up a little so I could catch Hudson right at the door. Walking up beside him, I whispered into his ear, "you." Then I sped out the door, practically sprinting next door to get to my next class before he could stop me.

Oh. My. God. Why did I just tell him he was the guy I liked? What's he gonna think of me now?

************After Third Period*************

I opened my locker, and a piece of paper fluttered out. I picked it up, and, seeing it was a note, I of course read it. It said what I had always dreamed of:

"I like you too."
