Tom x Reader Fluff

I sighed, laying down on my bed, removing my hoodie. "I wonder what Tom is doing..." I said to myself quietly. Edd and Matt had gone shopping for the day and Tord was in his room so in reality, it was just me and Tom. I'd liked him for the longest time now, and every word he uttered, every sarcastic comment, hell, everything he did made my little crush worse. I loved him so much. I put my headphones in and walked to Tom's room. I stopped instantly when I heard something. Tom was singing and playing his bass, which was not unusual for him, but this time the song he was singing had a... lighter tone to it than it usually did.

"But when our fingers interlock,

I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces as I realised that Tom loved another. I began to sob loudly, running out the door. The loud cries alerted Tom of my presence, as he soon came running after me. I settled into the woods, crying, hoping somehow, someday that Tom would return my feelings. "Y/N!" Tom yelled. "WHAT'S WRONG?!" He asked concerned. "GO AWAY!" I yelled with frustration and tears in my eyes. "IT'S NOT LIKE YOU CARE ANYWAY!" I yelled, sobbing louder. He sat down beside me not saying a word. I began to hum the song he sang to calm myself down. "Hey, is that the song I was singing earlier?" He asked, smiling. Reluctant to answer, I said, "Yes... and I hope the girl it's about treats you well..." Tom grinned, holding me close. He tilted my head up to face his. "Y/N... It's about you." He smiled. "W-Wait... me? I thought you-" Tom cut me off by smashing his lips against mine, filling me with a sense of happiness. "I love you, Y/N." Tom said after pulling away.

"I love you too, Tom."
