Josh's POV
"He's at the 10.......5.......Touchdown! With 0.3 seconds left in the game, Josh Rizzo scores another touchdown. The Carlsbad Warriors are the 2021 Illinois state champions, with the amazing work by the Rizzo twins. There is nothing that can stop Josh Rizzo...." The announcer comments.
I run over to my twin brother, Matt, and we do our handshake and then the rest of the team comes over and jumps on top of us, I look up and see two of our linemen dumb water all over our coach. We all line up at the 50-yard line and shake hands with the other team.
Afterward, Matt and I go over to our mom, grandparents, aunt Sarah, uncle John, and cousins Vincent and Aria, we hug our mom and take a picture with her to send them to our dad who is playing the San Diego Padres for the National League Championship.
I see my girlfriend, Aurora, out of the corner of my eye. I drop my helmet and run over to her, and she jumps into my arms. After a few seconds, I let her down and kissed her on the cheek. My grandma said, "Ok, Matt and Josh, let me get a photo of you two and then one with your mom, and then Josh, I'll take a photo of you and Aurora." We all said yes and then took photos.

I looked over at my mom and said, "Hey mom, did you send those pictures to dad?"
She said, "Yes, and he says he loves them and is sad that he's not here."
Matt says "Well on that note Josh, Vincent, and I will all drive home and we'll meet y'all at home. Ok?"
Our mom says, "OK, but I would prefer if Josh drove because Matt looks a little sleepy."
I said ok, and Matt and I ran to the locker room to get changed and hurry outside. We saw our aunt Sarah waiting with Vincent.
He ran over to us, Matt and I took his hands and walked over to our aunt, and said "Hey, where did Aurora go?"
Our aunt said, "She went home with your mom and grandparents."
"Oh ok, is that uncle John and Aria waiting for you?" I said pointing to their car. She nodded and we hugged and she went to their car Vincent, Matt, and I got into the car and started driving home but we stopped at McDonald's and grabbed some ice cream and sat in the parking lot, and finished our ice cream, and then continued our drive home. As soon as we got home Matt carried his bag and my bag while I carried in Vincent. I put Vincent to bed and went to my room and fell asleep.
Author's Note
Hope you guys enjoyed this book! I love Anthony Rizzo, so I thought it would be fun to write a book about him being a dad! Also, this is taking place in 2021 but without Covid, and yes I have the cubs going to the World Series. Come back to see who they are playing against. Also if you want to check out my YouTube channel that would be awesome, it's Anna Kehoe Vlogs.
