The cat that jumped over the moon

Ch 1

It was an ordinary night, the moon light was shining through the windows of an ordinary house. In that house lived two adults a young boy and a cat named CB. This cat was black with a white patch on his chest. He had soft fur, his meow was high pitched and he wasn't big on exploration. A while after the clock ringed ten times everyone soon went to sleep, but CB stayed up and laid on top of the couch by the window. Then CB noticed a light, and he looked to the source. He was surprised when he saw the ball that gave off a dim soothing light. He never actually looked at the moon before. CB stayed up almost all night looking at the moon, studying its unique features. When morning came, CB was awoken by the family leaving out the front door. They rarely ever leave together on weekends, maybe CB lost track of days. CB quickly looked out the window to watch them leave. As they were walking to their car, CB noticed the kid was a little jumpier than usual. CB watched until they drove out of view, then he went to his bed and did what he did best. Sleep.
