"So.... you're not gay?"
"Look it's complicated."
"When did you start liking her?"
"When we were like.... young. But it just didn't feel right because of how old I was compared to her. That when I started dating Ashley and.. It just didn't feel right. I dated other women after her.. but none of them felt right. So I thought maybe I wasn't interested in women. After Joshua, I just didn't date anymore."
"Oh, yea... I remember Ashley and Joshua. You were like.... 18 when you dated Ashley. Was that right around the time that you liked Kali?"
"Yea. But I thought I got over it."
"So when did you start back liking her?"
"Well... I don't know. I mean.. I kind of thought about it her senior prom a few months ago, but then her graduation day... it's like that just confirmed everything."
"Well, maybe you should talk to her about it," Keyera suggested.
"I know. I just don't know how I would bring that up." I said, parking my car in front of Kali's driveway.
"I kind of had the feeling you liked her a little bit too much."
"Shut up." I said just as Kali left her house and got in the back seat.
"Hey, guys!" She said happily.
"WHY WERE YOU IGNORING ME? WHO HAS YOUR ATTENTION?"
"Don't yell at her like that." I said to Keyera.
"Uhm..." Kali said looking at her hands.
Well... now I know I wasn't the only one who thought Kali had been talking to someone besides us. But her doing that little thing she does confirm her talking to someone.. and if my gut is right... probably a boy she is interested in.
"My mom got us snacks and stuff for the road," Kali said, changing the topic of conversation. Normally Kali tells me everything and the fact that she didn't tell me this... kind of upset me. I mean... If there is a guy... I might be a bit jealous.
"That's good. Now, let's be on our way. We should be there in about an hour or so."

Ok. That was definitely obvious, but I promised to respects Felix's privacy. I mean, Yea Keyera and Isaiah are my best friends, but Felix is also a friend too.
Speaking of Felix, I received a text from him. I looked at the notification, but didn't feel the need to reply right away so I put my phone down and laid back, soon taking a small nap.
What felt like minutes later, I had been woken up by Keyera.
" We are here little one. Let's go."
Getting out of the car, I walked alongside Keyera.
"So... are you gonna tell us who you were talking to?" She asked.
"No. I cant."
"Ok... well can't you just say if it's a boyfriend or not?"
"Keyera! It's not a boyfriend. It's just a friend who asked that I respect his privacy. "
"Fuck his privacy."
Shaking my head, I catch up to Isaiah who had already been in line with his and I's bags.
