"So can I take you out on a date?" I asked Isaiah, making him smile so hard.

We had currently been in his office as he was counting the money before closing shift came in.

"You mean can I take you on a date?"

"No! I want to take you on a date. I drive, I have money. You can sit in the passenger seat while I lean my seat back and try to make light skin faces." I said hitting one of those old Justin Beiber light skin faces which made him laugh.

"What is wrong with you?" He asked, making us both laugh. "Fine, Ill let you take me on a date. If I can choose where."

"Fine. Where?"

~

"I said not in my face Isaiah!"

"You are such a big baby, but my baby"

"I told you to shoot anywhere but above my neck. You didn't have to shoot water right in my left eye."

Bringing my town up to my face, he began to pat at my eye.

"Ok, baby, Im sorry."

"Just for that-" I began, popping a water balloon over his head, messing up his hair.

"Fine." He said, accepting his fate.

"You kids want something to eat?" My mom questioned, stepping into the back yard.

"No thank you."

"No mom."

"You two remind me of when you were younger. Back here doing the same thing." She said, going back into the house, closing the patio door.

"Alright, guns up!"

~

"So y'all just gonna leave me single? I'm not a third wheel. Isaiah, you better hook me up with one your fine friends." Keyera said once Isaiah told her we were together.

"They don't want you. Remember what happened last time you tried?" Recalling the events that took place the day Isaiah introduced us to his guy friends, I couldn't help but laugh. "Anyways, can you fucking go? Kali and I are supposed to be on a date."

"Well excuse me." She said walking out, muttering a "Bitch" under her breath.

"You guys are so mean to each other." I said as I took another bit of my food.
