The bell of the hair salon chimed as Nanny escorted the four Willoughby kids into the building.

The two twins immediately gasped in awe at the swivel chairs, scissors, hairdryers, and the four different women cutting people's hair. Tim scowled at what he could only describe as 'the biggest waste of money on the planet' and saw the different types of fancy bottles of soap, and one even being something called a "leave in contitioner " which seemed to be less than sanitary ( though he could praise it for the idea of maybe not having to use as much conditioner, therefore, potentially saving more money in the long run ). And Jane . . . she seemed to be on edge, she wasn't even humming little songs under her breath, or singing about the parade of new hair related things that laid in front of her, her hand was tense as it held onto Tim's.

The shop wasn't huge, but it was cozy, and quaint, with each hair dresser's station being decorated to match their different personalities.

A larger woman, with a blue headband and long, beautiful raven colored braids that skated across her big hips looked up from her client and gave Nanny a smile, before she unwrapped the protective smock from her client and shook the hair onto the floor.

"Linda !!" she greeted. "Are these the four little cutie pies that you told me about ? "

"Yep, these are the fabled new kiddos," Nanny answered.

She then told the customer that she would be with them at the cash register, before she walked to Nanny to give her a hug. She then walked to the cash register and exchanged the money before dismissing them with a good day ( or a 'fabulous' day ) as she put it.

"So, who's going first, wait, wait, what are your names ? " the hairdresser asked.

It was as if on cue that the twins pointed at eachother and announced.

"That's A..", "That's B.. "

Nanny then ruffled the oldest Willoughby siblings' heads and nudged them both forward.

"And these two are Tim and Jane," Nanny introduced. "This is my friend, Kiara."

"Why do you cut people's hair for money when they could do it at home for free ?" Tim questioned. "I cut all of our hair at home, except for Jane's."

"Because I don't want to cut my hair !!" Jane whined. "Nanny, can I go and wait out in the car ? I don't like it in here. There's too many scissors, and all the hair's falling on the floor, and I -"

Her breath seemed to hitch and shiver, before Tim immediately wrapped his arms around her and held her close. For a moment there, he went fully aggressive, and definitely would've hurt anyone that got near, but the demeanor faded when he realized that he needed to be softer to comfort Jane.

"Hey, tiny girlfriend," Nanny soothed.

Her voice was annoyingly sweet, and it made Tim want to promptly march out of the hair salon with Jane in tow, before they could try free samples that were advertised on a poster outside of an ice cream shop another building down. Couldn't Nanny tell that she didn't want to do this ? He continued to hold Jane close to him, in case the opportunity arose where he had to take her away from this woman that didn't understand anything.

"I know it's hard to let go of something that makes you comfortable," Nanny reasoned. "But maybe these nice ladies can help you feel better about going through a -"
