𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐫 ◞ 𝘀𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗇𝗍𝖾𝖾𝗇 ✓

i wrote this as a late bday imagine!!  <3 (a short one for yall; sorry for the lack of updates)

it was a hot and sunny afternoon and you had just finished school. you were sweating like crazy and still had to make your way home.

you sighed and just had to bear the heat for a while. on the way home, you saw that a new bubble tea store opened up in the corner. since you were soaked in sweat, going to the store to check it out and probably get a drink didn't seem like a bad idea.

the bells that hung on the handles created a small jingle as you pushed open the glass door. a breeze of cool, refreshing air hit you and the strong tea aroma filled the area.

the place was filled with students, every seat taken up by students trying to study, or some just hanging out with friends. it was pretty noisy and you didn't plan to stay long anyway.

waiting in line, you scoured the extensive menu while finding a drink that you may like. they all sounded interesting, especially the "Earl Grey Special". it seemed to be a best seller as well. you decided to try it since you haven't tried that flavour before.

when you got to the cashier, you excitedly placed your order, "one earl grey special, please." the staff immediately apologised, "oh, i'm so sorry, but we've just sold out our last cup of earl grey..." you made an 'o' shape with your mouth.

"it's alright, i'll get the strawbe-"

"she can have the earl grey then, take it that i  paid for her drink." someone beside you said. you looked to the side to see a boy wearing the same uniform as you. you didn't find him familiar, so you rejected his offer. "oh no, it's fine!" you quickly told him. "my treat. please accept it." he smiled.

not wanting to disrupt the people queueing behind, you told the cashier, "alright, then i'll take his earl grey tea."

the cashier nodded and gave a thumbs up as you moved to the waiting area. "hey, i'll pay you back," you said to the boy. "no worries, it'd be my pleasure to buy a drink for such a nice girl." "b-but i-!" "no buts, just accept it."

"okay...thank you," you sighed. after you went to collect you drink, you were going to thank the boy once again, but he seemed to have left the place already.

time skip

you were walking home with your best friend when you spotted someone with a familiar figure. it took a while but you realised it was the boy who gave you his earl grey tea back at the bubble tea store. you told your friend you needed to go and caught up with the boy.

"hey!" you tugged his shirt. "oh? what's up?" he said cheerfully. thank god, be seemed to remember you. "what's up? what's up is that i owe you a drink. come on!" you dragged him back to the store and got him to order something.

eventually, under pressure from you, he ordered an earl grey special, and you got a strawberry tea for yourself. after heading out the shop, both of you didn't really want to leave, so you two continued walking together.

"so...i've seen you around school and i think you're really nice," he complimented.

"thanks...come to think of it, i haven't got your name?"

"oh yeahh, well i'm jun!" he put his hand out. "and i'm y/n!" you shook his hand. he nodded and smiled and inhaled a deep breath.

"i actually have a part-time job at the café near the school. maybe you could come over some day during the weekend?"

"sure! it'd be cool to see someone make coffee for me!" you laughed.

but guess what, jun didn't actually didn't work there...he sneakily asked you out on a date ;)
