"Carful Bokuto-san you don't want to drop the books" Akaashi warned lightly eyeing Ace as he set them down on the table. 

Akaashi and Bokuto were currently studying in the school library. Initially they were going to go to the coffee shop down the street but Akaashi thought that his spiky haired friend would get to distracted with all the people coming in and out so they had gone here instead. Bokuto was a bit disappointed though, he had said "it didn't give the same vibe" which Akaashi had just shook his head. 

"Don't you have any faith in me?" Bokuto said back with a pouted. Akaashi ignored it and opened his own text books to the assigned pages. Bokuto did the same, sighing as his eyes begin to scan over the text.

His thoughts began to drift as he was got bored with the undigestible information in front of him. Why would he even need to know this stuff if he was going to become a professional volleyball player anyway? 

After a moment of completely tuning out the thing he was reading, the owl looking boy looked up, bored of his homework, and ready to question his friend about a certain someone. 

"So, Akaashi, what's up with you and Y/N?" 

"What do you mean Bokuto?" Akaashi retorted flipping to the next page, using his pen to mark something in the book as he read.

"You know, the girl who was helping out at the training camp. Kuroo noticed you seemed to be looking at her a lot." Bokuto snickered as the setter finally looked up, "More like staring actually if you ask me." He added, 

A very light tint of pink dusted Akaashis cheeks. It was the only indication that his friend might be on to the setter's little crush. 

"I don't know what you're talking about..." Akaashi said looking back down at his text book and homework packet. Bokuto smirked.

"Oh common, you know who I'm talking about, she had h/c hair and e/c ey-" A rather loud few giggles cut through the quiet atmosphere of the library, interrupting the ace in the middle of his sentence. 

Bokuto turned, looking in the direction the sound had come from and saw a group of girls sitting at a table not so far from theirs. They all seemed to be giggling and having fun except for one girl, who was sitting in the spot closest to the two males table, and blushing aggressively. She was trying to shush the other girls as they continued to tease her. 

The spiky haired boy narrowed his eyes as he tried to figure out why she seemed so familiar. It took him a moment before he did. 

Bokutos eyes lit up as he realized who she was, instantly turning to Akaashi to get his attention.

"Akaashi! Akaashi it's that girl you kept staring at the training camp!" He said excitedly pointing at the table of girls. 

"Dont point, its rude." Akaashi scolded, but he still looked to see where, or more of who, Bokuto was pointing at.  

His eyes followed Bokutos finger, landing on the table of girls. He frowned in confusion and started scanning over the girls trying to figure out what his friend was talking about. Then his eyes got to the last girl. It seemed she was already looking at him as their eyes met.

She gave him a shy smile that made her eyes sparkle and made Akaashis stomach exploded into butterflies at the simple act of kindness. He gave a small smile in return before she turned back around to her friends. Akaashis face had turned red as he looked back at Bokuto who had a triumph smile plastered on it. He ignored it and tried to continue to work.

"You should ask her out if you like her." Bokuto said, further poking at the subject."

"Shut up and do your work." Akaashi replied, earning a huff of annoyance from the other boy.

The setter spent the rest of the time they were in the library stealing glances at the h/c haired girl at the other table. Sometimes he would catch her looking at him or she would catch him. They even made eye contact a few times but they both quickly looked away, both their cheeks tinted pink. 

Thank god they hadn't gone to that coffee shop otherwise he wouldn't have been able to see Y/N.
