A/N: I'm trying a new writing style, instead of writing in 1st person I'm trying writing in 2nd person (?) I think thats what it is, so thats why it's different. I'm really going to try to update more but I rlly dont think that will happen for a number of reasons.

Warnings: alcohol usage, one mention of sex at the very beginning and not proof read (like most of my work)

As you walked into the club besides all your friends, loud music and glaringly bright lights welcomed you. The smell of alcohol, sex, and sweat hit you instantly.

You couldn't quite remember the last time you had been out like this...Wearing a short, tight dress the hugged your body perfectly and jewelry shimmering on your ears, hanging off your neck and decorating your arms. Even the feel of a full face of makeup that had felt so natural to you just months ago now felt odd.

What felt the oddest, however, was not the dress or the jewelry, or the makeup. It was not having Suna by your side with his hand wrapped around your waist, pulling you close and attached to your side at all times. Thinking about it brought you a feeling of nostalgia, and you quickly shoved down the memory to refocus on your friends.

"I'll go get us some drinks; you guys grab a table!" Your friend, Akari, announced to the group, hurrying of to the bar.

Kiyoko turned to you, sensing your discomfort as you guys sat down, "I know you haven't been out in a while since you and Suna...you know, but I think it'll be a good change of pace for you Y/N, instead of being locked up in your apartment 24/7 unless you have errands to run or work."

"We broke up Kiyoko, you can say it, it's not like a trigger word or something." You weren't completely lying, but you weren't exactly telling the truth at the same time. Your breakup with Suna had hit you pretty hard so of course it wasn't your favorite topic and you didn't practically like talking about it and neither did your friends to be honest.

Your friends were pretty disappointed when they found out that you guys had broken up. He was good to you. Treated you well, took care of you, made you happy. Then when you told them he had broken up with you their disappointment turned into anger and when they had asked why and you had told them Suna hadn't even given you a reason why when he broke up with you, they became even angrier.

"I-This just isn't going to work anymore Y/N." Is all he had said to you before packing his stuff and leaving. You had stood there staring at the door for a good 10 minutes after he had closed it behind himself trying to process what had just happened. Maybe he just had needed his space or something, you told yourself, he'd be back in no time. Well, you had been wrong because it had been months since you last spoke to him.

"Okay...well just try to have fun." She smiled at you before turning to the others to join their conversation. You took a deep breath quieting your thoughts.

Right, you nodded to yourself, just have fun.

After a bit of time Akiri came back juggling five drinks, in her hands. You all claimed your shot as she set the cups down on the table. You raised your drink with the others, a short cheer coming from you all, before everyone downed their cups contents. You shook your head laughing with them as the alcohol went down your throat, instantly making your body feel warm.

"Alright second rounds on me!" Mina said. Maybe tonight wouldn't be so bad.

Time skip

...

You weren't sure what time it was but you were guessing sometime around 3am. Your friends had already left, helping each other get home.

"I'll be fine," you had told them, "I'll just have one more drink and go home."
