the day continued on with childe and zhong li together and a small crush developing within childe for zhong li. they went to many shops, chatting happily while doing so, but not all good things last forever. soon the sun begin setting and it was time to part.
" ah, it seems like our time is up is it. " zhong li said while looking up at the sky. childe could only nod a little. he felt reluctant to part with the brunette, he wanted to stay with him longer. the feeling of him beside him was a warm sort of feeling, and his voice was calming and his laughter was best, it sounded melodic. "well i have to get going. thank you for today... uhm i just realized i haven't gotten your name..." zhong li said chuckling a little about how forgetful he was. " well just call me... ajax. " childe said, he felt like telling his real name to zhong li was right, " that's a beautiful name." zhong li complimented, making Childe blush a little.
out of the Conner of his eye childe spotted a flower shop that sold the glaze lilies they were talking about earlier. " hey zhong li, stay here for a second. I'm going to get something, be right back." and of the ginger went, zhong li watched the boy go into a flower shop and thought, ' hehe must be for his girlfriend.' and childe came back with 3 glazed lilies and passed them to zhong li. " Ajax?" zhong li asked confused, tilting his head slightly. " you said that you liked glazed lilies so here." as he rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. just than zhong li noticed that it was 3 glazed lilies, immediately feeling his cheeks getting warmer. " uh thank you. " zhong li mumbled. "well i have to get going now. see you soon?" childe said as he started walking off. " w-wait! Ajax! " zhong li shouted and grabbed onto childe's arm and gave him a quick peck on the cheek and ran off embarrassed by the fact he kissed a guy he just met. (anna from frozen is that you!?!)
childe stood there frozen he looked calm outside but inside his brain was shouting, ' he kissed me. he KISSED ME!. HE SO CUTE AND ADORABLE!!'
Btw the number of flowers give to someone means something, I chose three cause it meant 'i love you' but Childe doesn't know while zhong li does.
