Faith awoke from her surprisingly dreamless sleep to a large clap of thunder, shooting straight up in her mother's old bed. The girl watched as objects started to fly across the room and embedded themselves in the opposite wall.

She stared for a second before running out of the room and down the stairs. She followed the other Hargreeves outside to the courtyard. A large blue something was hovering in the center of the space and it was glowing brightly and wind was whipping violently around it. She spotted Diego and ran over to his side.

"What is it?" Vanya said, though it was hard to hear her over all the noise.

"Don't get too close!" Allison warned.

"Yeah, no shit." Diego put an arm in front of Faith and pushed her behind him slightly. Faith grabbed his arm and held on to it tightly.

"Any idea what it is?" Faye asked. In all her years of life she hadn't seen anything like that and to say she was confused was an understatement.

"Looks like some sort of temporal anomaly. Either that or a miniature black hole. One of the two," Luther hypothesized. Faith's eyes widened and she turned to Luther.

"Pretty big difference, Paul Bunyan." Diego said.

"Yeah, like, life or death big." Faye reiterated and faced the big glowing thing once again.

She felt a slight shove and heard Klaus scream, "Out of the way!"

The next thing she knew he was chucking a fire hydrant into the thing and everyone watched as it was swallowed by the anomaly and disappeared.

"What is that gonna do?" Allison asked.

"I don't know." Klaus shot back. At least he tried to do something. "Do you have a better idea?"

The big glowing thing pulsed with electricity and everyone took a step back; Diego was now standing completely in front of Faith.

Luther moved to the front of the small group and held his arms out protectively, "Everybody get behind me!"

"Yeah, get behind us!" Diego shouted also moving forward, though Faye's grip on his arm never faltered.

The girl faintly heard Klaus yell something about wanting to run but she was more focused on the person she could now see pushing through the anomaly.

And with one final push the figure fell to the ground and the anomaly disappeared completely.

The group approached the person hesitantly and Faith's grip on Diego's loosened. The figure slowly stood, revealing a boy who looked to be around Faith's age, maybe younger. He was wearing a suit that was way too big for him was slightly dirtied from his fall.
