Things haven't really been super familiar after Jimin woke up. His friends couldn't stay super long due to them having to work. Jimin could understand since people have things they need to do.
As for him, he needed to do a few things that his doctor said. So as of this time, it was his job to keep himself healthy.
The memories from before his coma were super blurry. He knew who his friends were, but the entire dream he had while in the coma was too vivid.
It was honestly all he could remember.
The doctors said he was good to go home after a few more tests, but Jimin wasn't sure where home was.
"Well, Jimin, you seem healthy! I'm glad you're recovering well." His doctor smiled. She was the one who took care of him while he was unconscious.
"Thanks." Jimin mumbled.
The doctor smiled warmly and stood in front of him.
"Are you still having trouble with memory?" She asked seriously. Jimin nodded.
"I can't remember anything." He admitted. She nodded back.
"Alright, well, I'll prescribe some medicine to help with the memory before I let you go home. Someone's on their way here already, so, here's a list that you need to give him."
Jimin grabbed the paper that she handed to him. It was instructions on his recovery. Weird.
"Is he ready to go?" Jin asked as he popped his head in the door. The doctor nodded with a smile. Jimin remembered Jin. In the dream, he was one of the only ones to respect him.
Jin finished his conversation with the doctor and grabbed a bag of things. Jimin was handed some clothing. He looked back to the doctor.
"When do I have to come back?" Jimin asked. The doctor looked to Jin then back to Jimin.
"I will be seeing you every two weeks, Jimin. Mr. Kim, make sure that he takes his pills regularly. I'll be sending out a text for his next appointment. You take care, okay?" She informed.
"I will, Dr. Won. Don't overexert yourself." Jin replied. She laughed and nodded.
"I'll see you then." She smiled once more before she left to help other patients. Jimin got up to start getting dressed. Jin stood there and waited just in case he needed help.
It didn't seem like he did, so he just waited patiently.
Jimin looked to Jin.
"I'm ready now."
Jin nodded and the two walked out of the hospital. Once they left the doors, Jimin blocked his eyes from the sun. It was so bright.
Jin opened the car door for Jimin. There was a blanket on the passenger's seat for him. He smiled.
"Thank you." Jimin smiled as he got in, covering himself with the blanket. Jin sat down and began driving.
Jimin watched as the buildings passed. There were a lot of buildings. This was so different compared to his dream. Sure, there were some places, but it was more of a base with a large mansion in the distance.
But this was almost overwhelming.
"Are you cold? Do you need me to turn up the heat?" Jin asked. Jimin curled up in the blanket.
"No, no, I'm okay."
There was uncomfortable silence for a short bit, but Jimin was curious. Did he live with everyone? Or was that just in his dream?
"So, do I live with everyone?" Jimin asked, looking over to Jin.
"Yes, we all live together in a pretty big house. It's nothing super fancy, but we made it very cozy." Jin explained with a soft smile. Jimin nodded.
"Even Taehyung?"
Jin gripped the steering wheel just hearing the name. Jimin noticed. Why was Taehyung a touchy subject again?
"No. No, he's not around. He won't be around anymore." Jin explained calmly. Jimin nodded.
He looked out the window again. Tae killed him in the dream. Or, well, almost. Jimin wasn't sure if that applied to real life or not, but he was going to assume so.
The car ride was super quiet. But eventually, Jimin spotted a nice house in what seemed to be a gated area.
The house was really big, Jimin wanted to explore it.
As they pulled into the driveway, Jimin saw four of his friends standing outside looking very excited, but also concerned.
Namjoon walked up to the car and helped bring in the hospital bags. Jungkook walked up to Jimin and held out his hand.
"Long time no see, buddy." He smiled. Jimin smiled back and grabbed onto his hand to get out. He stumbled a bit but caught his balance.
Yoongi and Hoseok helped Jin bring in the rest of the bags. Jimin looked around the house as Jungkook helped him out.
There were pictures of them from when they were younger. Yoongi was always wearing black and had his hair almost covering his eyes. He found that kinda funny. But then he looked at himself.
He was always next to Taehyung. Jimin saw himself wearing a turtleneck sweater and other things to cover himself up. Taehyung was wearing a tight grey shirt with a bomber jacket over. His hair was parted to the side and he had his arm wrapped around Jimin.
Jungkook noticed Jimin staring at the picture. He walked over and stood next to him.
"You doing okay?" He asked. Jimin scanned the picture. He and Jungkook were also always next to each other.
"I don't remember almost anything from before. All I remember is my dream. We're close, right?" Jimin asked with confusion. Jungkook didn't know how to react, but he gave Jimin a soft smile.
"Yes, you're one of my best friends."
Jimin smiled at that. He turned back to the picture.
"I'm glad. I was hoping the dream was wrong. We didn't get along very well in it."
Jungkook chuckled and looked back to the painting.
"We're best friends." He reassured.
Jimin smiled and stared at Taehyung's picture. For some reason, even though he was almost killed in the dream, he still felt pretty close to Taehyung.
Why did Taehyung go away in real life?
"Jimin, come to the kitchen, dinner's almost ready."
"Coming!"
He glanced to the photo one more time before leaving to go to the dining room.
Why was everyone so familiar, yet so distant?
Maybe he would find out.
