Jimin sat on his bed once they got home that night. Namjoon was making sure that he didn't know about the past, and he knew that.

He just didn't understand what exactly they were trying to hide. The only thing anyone has ever said was that he was safe.

Safe from him.

But he really wanted to know what that meant.

The only person who seemed willing to talk to him about anything, was Jungkook.

Jimin realized that he wasn't going to be able to get answers by asking anyone. He had to investigate this himself.

Since dinner was going to be starting in about an hour, Jimin had enough time to start doing his own investigation.

He stayed quiet for a moment and listened to see if anyone was walking close by. Once he determined that he wasn't being listened to, he quietly started.

Jungkook said that they all knew each other throughout school.

So maybe he could find a yearbook.

Jimin opened his closet and started rummaging through the small room. So far he only saw folded clothes and throw blankets. It seemed empty, but there had to be something in there.

He carefully searched in between the clothes and made sure to neatly put them back. So far, nothing. He continued searching until something caught his eye in a far corner.

It was a shirt, covered in what seemed to be blue paint. Jimin looked behind him carefully and carefully lifted the shirt to reveal what looked to be a dusty book.

He grabbed one of the small, folded, brown shirts close to him and placed it under the paint shirt.

Jimin carefully crawled out of the closet and closed the door almost silently.

He checked his bedroom door and opened the book.

On the first page it said-

There was knock on the door.

Jimin quickly placed the book in between his mattress. Jimin grabbed a random shirt and started messing it up.

The door opened to Jimin trying to carefully folding a shirt. Hoseok paused when he saw Jimin.

"Hey." He awkwardly said. Jimin looked up to Hoseok from the floor and smiled at him awkwardly.

"Hi."

The two just stayed quiet for a moment. Hoseok swayed back and forth as the silence seemed to grow more unbearable.

"Why don't you sit down?" Jimin asked with a seemingly forced chuckle. Hoseok let out a scoff with a smile and sat down.

The two sat on the floor together, not saying a word. Jimin placed the folded shirt onto the nightstand next to them, giving Hoseok an opportunity to possibly say something.

Hoseok finally worked up enough breath to start speaking.

"Look, I know that you don't remember anything that happened, or anything really in general, but I just want you to know that I'm trying my best to change my ways." Hoseok started. Jimin let out a small smile and nodded.

"I may not remember anything, but I do know that it wasn't pleasant to talk about. Jin and Namjoon have made that clear enough." Jimin whispered, still holding a smile. Hoseok let out a small one of his own.

"It's not pleasant to talk about. At all, honestly, but if there's anything that you want to know, I can definitely tell you. Especially considering I was apart of the reason that you're. . . Like this." Hoseok stopped talking after that and cleared his throat. Jimin held his smile and nodded slowly.
