Lauren's Letters (Sequel To Hurt By The One I Loved)

Dear Josh,

       Alanna'sPOV

       The next letter. Josh McDermitt. Oh, our little Josh, he was heartbroken, him and Lauren were close, and did everything together, this letter would hurt, but they all hurt. Emily picked up the letter, it was in a light blue envelope, and it had a small mustache sticker to keep it closed. She slowly unpeeled the mustache sticker, and unfolded the letter, and she started to read it,

             ‘Dear Josh McDermitt,
                  
                   My Mustache. Joshua, Joshua, Joshua. My lovely 'babe'. You sometimes made life actually worth living. You cared. You tried to make me happy. It didn't work though, you tried so hard, I just couldn't be saved. Not everyone can be saved, remember that Joshy. But, this isn't gonna be a sad letter, it's gonna highlight the good times we had, like the time when we both got drunk and you started to bite my hair, and tried to eat it, because you said it looked like a fluffy marshmallow. The next day we were so hungover, even when I was hungover, you made it so fucking great Josh. Then the other time, when we went to the haunted school, and I completely just died of scaredness and peed my pants 3 times in the course of 2 hours. You made my life better Joshy, I love you so much Josh.

           Alanna's POV

          Lauren. Why? I couldn't take the letters anymore, "I can't." I said quietly looking at Emily, "We could've saved her, and we didn't! It's all my fault! It's all my fucking fault!" I screamed as I broke down, tears running off my cheeks and onto my black skinny jeans, "I can't take the pain of losing Lauren and then having to read the pain she went through, every single fucking day." I yelled through my tears, "I just can't!"
