A Morning with Bayani

Belle POV~

I woke up the next day later then usual. It was about 9 when I woke up. I went upstairs to eat breakfast. I was expecting no one to be up because people like to sleep in, in this house. But I was surprised to see Bayani was awake. He was eating bagel and in his phone, probably on Twitter.

I creep up behind him grab his shoulders and say "BOO!" He screamed and threw his bagel. I was laughing so hard I almost fell to the ground. Bayani screamed like a little girl! "That's not funny. I almost punched you in the face." he said looking at me. "Oh you would not have punched me, you liar." I smirked. "You never know I'm a pretty manly guy. I'm strong too, so that punch would've hurt." he defended. "You are not as strong as me though." I challenged.

He put his phone down and tackled me to the ground. He had me pinned to the ground and was sitting on my stomach. I squirmed trying to get out of his grip. "Oh what was that? You're stronger then me?" He chuckled. With that little motivation I flipped him over so I was now on top of him, pinning his wrists down as hard as I could. "Oh what were you saying Jordan?" I laugh. "...I wasn't expecting that to happen." he says as I stand up, pulling him up with me.

"Man everyone sleeps the whole day away." I stated. "Yeah, I always feel like I need to get up and do something." Jordan replies. "Hey, there's a surf shop down the street I've been wanting to go check out wanna check it out?" I ask. "Sure let me go get changed." Bayani says walking down the stairs. I follow him down the stairs and head to my room. I go over to my drawers and take out a pair of high waisted shorts and teal tank top. I put on my white converse and put my hair in a quick side braid. As I walk out of my room Jordan does the same and we walk out of the house together.

We walk to the surf shop making small talk as we go. I enter the surf shop and instantly fall in love. I've always loved beachy type stuff. I never really learned how to surf or anything but I always had an interest in it. Me and Jordan split paths as I head to the girl section and he heads to the guy section. I want to buy everything, it's all so cute! But as I walk around I decide on a sweatshirt with the surfs shop logo on it and a pair of sunglasses. I head to the check out and see that Bayani had bought some swim shorts with Hawaiian flowers on it.

Right by the check out I see a display of penny boards. "I've always wanted to one." I say to Jordan staring at the display as I check out. "Do you have a penny board?" I ask him. "Yeah it's fun I brought it with me. You should buy one so we could go skate together." he says excited at the idea. I walk over and pick out a yellow and purple Hawaiian themed one and bought it. We left the surf shop and started walking back home. "I just realized something Bayani." I say thinking about my own stupidity. He just looks at me confused as I say "I don't even know how to ride a skateboard." I face palm myself. Bayani laughs at me and says "Its okay I can teach you." "Will you teach me today?! I wanna learn today!!" I say excited. "Sure we just need to go home and get mine." he laughs at how excited I am.

We go home and I put the sweatshirt I bought in my room and me and Bayani head outside. "It may be a bit dangerous learning on the sidewalk because of cars. So let's head to the park. It's right up the block." he says. I agree and we head to the park.

When we get there I place my board down on the pavement. "Hop on." he says. I do as I'm told and get on my board. He helps me position myself to stand on it the right way. "Now push off with your foot." I try and I instantly lose my balance and fall forward. I laugh at my clumsiness and hop back on. "Wait let me stand here so incase you fall again I'll catch you." Bayani says. I try again and slowly move forward. But when I go to do it again I step to far out and fall. Bayani caught me and I looked up into his eyes. Man I never realized how cute he was. His hair, his face, his eyes...I didn't realize we were staring at each other at first but when I did I quickly get out of his grip and thank him for helping me.

That was really awkward. "I think I'm getting the hang of it." I say trying to break the awkward silence. "Yeah you're doing great you just need to keep practicing." Bayani says motivationally. After that I just practiced skating and Bayani just skated around the park for a bit. Eventually we got hungry and we skated to Subway which was about 3 blocks away. It was kind of scary because I didn't want to fall in the road but I didn't. After we got our sandwiches we decided to head home so no one would get worried about where we are.
