A Summer in Paradise~a CubeSMP Fanfic~

4th of July ~Part 1~

~Belle POV~

Today is 4th of July!! I'm actually really excited to have such an amazing time with my friends. Kricken left the day Will, Jordan, and I went shopping, she left when we weren't there. Oh well, didn't care for her anyways. But today we are going to spend the day together on the beach and then barbecue a shit ton of food and then go to the boardwalk where the fireworks will be going on.

It's 7 am and I need to go shopping for the barbecue today because no one else ever did. But I decide to go wake up Dfield and Straub, since they were cooking today, and have them come with me. I really didn't know much about grilling and stuff like that but I can make the side things. Me Straub and Dfield make small talk on the way to the store. It's nice talking to them because I don't usually talk to them much.

We get to the store and we all split up and shop for our own things. I'm making pasta salad while the boys are making the ribs and burger and hot dogs. So I set off to buy two boxes of colorful pasta, Italian dressing, olives, shredded carrots, and a pepper. While I'm picking out my stuff I get a few avocados to make some homemade guacamole and pick out some chips. I also put 3 bottles of Pepsi, 2 bottles of Sprite, and 2 bottles of Mountain Dew. I honestly had no idea what soda to buy so I just went basic. As I'm walking up to the line to check out I see Dfield and Straub buying at least 3 12 packs of beer and a keg. I just look at them with a motherly look and Dfield says "Hey! I just wanna have a good time." I just laugh and let them do their thing. I guess we really will be having a good time today.

When we get home I start making up all the stuff for later today so I won't have to worry about it later. Everyone but Graser, Dolphin, and Brayden were all awake eating breakfast. As I'm doing my thing, Dfield and Straub are marinating the meat so it can sit for later on. It's about 10:30 so we all decide to chill out until about 12 until we go to the beach. So everyone is now all spread out around the house while I go downstairs to the movie room to watch a movie.

When I get down there Julio, Grape, and Rusher are all sitting there talking. "You guys wanna watch a movie?" I ask. They all nod their heads and let me pick the movie. There weren't many choices so I just put Mean Girls in because who doesn't love that movie. When the movie ends its 11:45 so we all get up and go get ready to go to the beach.

I put on my American flag bathing suit that I bought with Will and Jordan and throw on a white sun dress over top just to cover up. I put my sunglasses, my tanning oil, my copy of Paper Towns, and my phone in a small beach bag and go downstairs. As I walk downstairs I see everyone all carrying a shit ton of stuff. We were bringing every and any beach game possible. We also had a huge cooler which Dfield had put some beers in for us to drink on the beach, and red cups so we can pour the beer into the cups and not get in trouble for drinking. We were all set and we all walked down to the beach.

As we walk down we see a bunch of people, today is the day the beach is most exciting. We finally found a spot big enough for all of us and set up our chairs and towels to lay on. Me, Dul, Ryan, Brayden, Will, Jordan, Julio, and Devon all go into the water. While Graser, Grape, Bee, Straub, and Mitch stay by our stuff sitting in their chairs. The boys were all throwing around a football, while me and Dul stood with only our feet in.

"Do you think I should tell Brayden how I feel tonight?" Dul asks me quietly. "Well do you really like him?" I asked. "Well yeah I think so, when you, Will, and Jordan went shopping that one day we were cuddling watching a movie and it was nice. Yah know just spending time like that with him." she said holding her hand to her face trying to cover up that fact that she was blushing. "Awe! That's so cute! You should definitely tell Brayden how you feel then. To be honest, I think he likes you too. I see that way he looks at you sometimes and I can just see it in his face that he likes you." I say happily. "What?! He looks at me?! When?!" I giggle at the way she panicked a bit. "Like when we eat dinner he glances over at you occasionally. It's cute." as I say that she just blushes again. I look up at the the ocean and see that Brayden and Will are gone.

I was about to ask Dul where they went and I feel two wet arms snake around my waist. I turn my head to see Dul giggling while Brayden carries her to the ocean. I turn around to see Will and I just smile. "I'm surprised you're not screaming or begging me not to throw you in" Will says chuckling. "Eh I'm used to it by now." I say making Will laugh as he throws me in. It's actually not that cold today. We all throw the football with each other in the water.
