The Maw

3rd Person POV
The Collector, A.K.A Damian, sighed, looked at Six, then at Mono, and told him about the Maw. "It's this giant ship run by some weird lady. It always comes once a year at the same time, but never in the same place. On that day people from all over the world come there to eat whatever they want, but they're never seen again. Your friend has some kind of unfinished business there. I might have to ask her about it later, but for now I'll wait. She seems like she's having fun." Mono turned to see Six wrestling Ash. Damian gave Mono the book, "this has anything you need or want to know about this world, look through it, it could be helpful. And don't worry about giving it back, I have more of those." Mono thanked him and went to one off the trees to read the book.
Mono's POV
I only read a few pages, but there was so much information in it. It had stuff about what life was like before everything got corrupted, about the Maw, and so many other places. There was this place called the Nest, and apparently it was supposed to raise girls who were supposed to become "The Lady of the Maw" (THATS JUST WHAT I THINK IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO ITS NOT CANON), but one of the girls fell off of the mountain and drowned. I'm not surprised, the architecture is awful. There was also this place called the Laboratory, which got shut down after a little kid went insane and destroyed the place. I heard Ava calling the kids for lunch, so I hid the book under my pillow and went in the kitchen. Where's Six? I shrugged it off, she might not be hungry. I asked that Ash kid if he knew where Six was. "Mr. Damian asked her to follow him and after that I haven't seen her." I thought about it for a moment before freaking out. "SO YOU'RE SAYING THAT GUY TOOK HER TO GOD KNOWS WHERE AND NOW SHE COULD BE DEAD?!?!?!?????!!!" I yelled at him, lifting him up by his hood without realizing it. Dawn walked up to me and calmed me down, "It's okay, he wouldn't do that, he's asked kids to follow him before and they've come back just fine." That made me relax a bit, but I was still upset, I walked back to the bedrooms, throwing my lunch in the trash can on the way out. I sat in bed, hugging my pillow for comfort. She was gonna be just fine.....right?
Damian's POV
I stared at Six with the angriest expression. I had chained her foot to a pole after she tried to attack me. I also took off her raincoat so that she couldn't hide from me. Now she looked terrified. "All I want to know is what connection you have to the Maw, just tell me and I'll give you your raincoat and let you go." I calmly told her, stroking her hair. She looked up at me and stammered, "I-I don't know!! Honestly!!! I don't k-know why you want me to say it so badly!!!" I got in her face and said, "Tell. Me. What. You. Know. NOW." While she attempted to remember, I went to look for a weapon, I wasn't going to hurt her of course, I just wanted to intimidate her. As I picked up a rusty knife, I looked at Six and watched her whimper and shake. I felt bad for lying to Mono, but he should know what I do. I gave him the book for goodness sakes, it has the most stuff on me, and most of it is about what I do to kids once I take them. As I walked up to the girl, I looked over at my beautiful collection of kids. I hope the kids don't realize that the ones I take aren't the same as the ones I bring back. I help the knife up to meet Six's face. "All I know about it is that it always arrives at the same time, but never in the same place! That's all I know, I swear!", The girl cried. I stood up and threw the knife, "Good, at least you know something about it. Now come along, I'm taking you somewhere." I removed the chain and grabbed her hand, taking her to my collection, I threw her in a cage, along with a music box, her raincoat, bread, and water. "I've been learning all about you and your little friend, Six, and now that I've got you, you're never getting away.", I said, locking the cage and putting her in a room filled with children just like her and Mono.
