Bucky and Y/N were trying to start a family because they felt like after everything they both went through they deserved it.

But there was several complications with conceiving a child for the couple. One being that Y/N's body couldnt carry a child. And the other thing being all the experiments that were done on Bucky made him unable to have kids.

It was in that moment he hated HYDRA even more they did so much stuff to him it ruined his chance for a family. He hated he couldnt give Y/N what she always wanted. He also slightly hated Steve would actually was tested like him and he could produce children.

Bucky thought long and hard about what he and Y/N could do and adoption was what Y/N was considering for them, but Bucky wanted at least one child who was Y/N's by blood.

"I know it sounds insane, but we can always adopt later. I really want to see you have a child that is really yours even if biologically he or she isnt mine." Bucky says.

"Buck, I cant carry children anyway and you cant make any. So why would I want a child that isnt half yours?" Y/N questions.

"Because you deserve to let your perfect jeans move on. We just need someone who can carry a child and get an sperm donor, have your eggs moved or whatever. And hope we can have a child." Bucky says.

He had some much passion for this idea that Y/N didnt want to say no. So they did what they had to do. They asked Pepper to be their surrogate who was more then happy to do it.

They had Y/N have some eggs extracted and found a sperm donor and the process was put into motion. They had to wait some time before Pepper called them letting them know a baby was on the way.

So as Pepper grew their child Y/N took care of  her always helping her out with whatever she needed. Bucky wished he could be more help, but he was sent out on missions and Y/N told him thats more then enough help.

When the time came for the baby to be born Bucky was lucky to be there. He couldnt wait to meet the little one. Once the baby was born the couple knew there was going to be no way they could ever pay Pepper back.

"Thank you Pep. Thank you so much." Y/N says.

"Of course." Pepper says.

Bucky held his daughter in his arms ever so gentle and made her a promise to always be there for her. A promise he knew he would never break.
