Dating as a single mom was hard because you never knew if the one you're with will leave you or not.

Another thing is bringing your child near someone who may or may not stay in your life. And the fear of the child getting attached is very scary if someone doesnt stay.

Y/N has an 8 year old son named Oliver who is her whole world. His father passed away when their son was only a year old. He was Y/N's first love and when he died Y/N only had Oliver.

She hadnt dated anyone since for the last 7 years because she was in love and couldnt move on.

That was until she met the man in the park six months ago. He asked her out and she said yes and they have together yet. She was in now in love with him.

His name was Bucky Barnes and she was happy with him, but didnt tell him she had a child. She was scared he would leave her if he found out.

Y/N told Bucky she would seem him this weekend and on Friday she was picking up her son from school.

Bucky was driving by with Sam as they were headed to see a lead when he saw his girlfriend at the school.

"Hey park over there real fast, why is my girlfriend at a school?" Bucky asks as Sam parks.

"Maybe she's a teacher." Sam says.

"She's a makeup artist." Bucky says.

"Maybe she is cheating on you with a hot teacher." Sam says.

"Shut up." Bucky says.

Y/N was 10minutes early and waiting for her son and Bucky texted her she texted back. At least she texted him back and told him she had to do something important.

When the bell rang, he saw a little boy run over to Y/N and hugged her.

"She has a kid? Why didnt you say anything?" Sam asks.

"I didnt know." Bucky says.

Sam drove off as Bucky was thinking about how Y/N didnt tell him about her son.

"Hey baby boy. How was your day?" Y/N asks as they drove their house.

"I got a A today for constant participation." Oliver says.

"Awww Ollie. Thats great buddy. What was it about?" Y/N asks.

"We talked about Howling Commandos and the Avengers. My teacher said he was proud of me for knowing so much at such a young age." Oliver says.

"Thats wonderful sweetie." Y/N says.

"Though my classmates made fun of me for like Bucky Barnes the best and the Cap is second." Oliver says.

"Well thats fine. You can have whatever hero as your favorite." Y/N says.

"I know, Mommy." Oliver says.

When they got home Bucky messaged Y/N saying he saw her at the school and saw  her with her child. So she got scared what was to come next.

Y/N has meet the team and has been friends with them since she met Bucky. And know one knew about her son except Wanda and Nat.

Bucky texted her telling her he wants to see her tonight and she told him he could.

When he came over Y/N had the Captain America Documentary on for her son while she can talk with Bucky outside.

"Bucky I know I should have told you, but... You can leave now if you want. But the story is he is 8 and his father died when he was one. I lost my first love and his dad and didnt date again since you. Its been a fear that no one would want to be with me because of my son. So Im sorry for not...." Y/N says.

Bucky though shut her up by kissing her and holding her close to him.

"Im not mad and Im not leaving you. I cant. I love you and Im sorry you were scared to tell me." Bucky says.

"Are you sure?" Y/N asks.

"Im sure. So, whats his name?" Bucky asks.

"Oliver." Y/N says.

"Can I meet him or not. Its up to you." Bucky says.

"Sure." Y/N says.

They walked in and when Oliver saw Bucky he freaked out. He asked Bucky everything and anything he wanted. As the days passed Bucky came over more and more and they even brought Oliver to seem the team.

Oliver loves the team and had attached to Bucky and even Steve from time to time. One day when Bucky came over Oliver gave him a picture he made of him.

Y/N watched as they grew closer and she smiled. She was scared for so long, but now she was happy and knew her first love would be happy for them both. Because they both were happy with someone who loves them both very much.
