Testing the Waters

Clint and his wife Y/N have been married for about a year now and he thinks its time to start a family.

Although he knew she should have a idea about it and so he asked a friend if he could baby sit his child.

"Clint? What is that?" Y/N asks.

"Its a four year old little boy. He is my friend's son. I offered to babysit him is that okay?" Clint asks.

"Look at that face how can I not be okay with it." Y/N says.

Y/N took to being a mother very quickly and Clint watched her and the little boy.

"I like you. Your pretty." Liam says.

"And your sweet." Y/N says.

Y/N played with him and gave him lunch. Then she had a wonderful idea by taking him to the park.

"Watch me." Liam says swinging in the swing.

Y/N smiled at him and rested her head on Clint's shoulder.

"So Y/N do you like this?" Clint asks.

"Yeah babysitting its okay." Y/N says.

"No I meant playing Mom for a few hours. How does that feel?" Clint asks.

"Wait were is this coming from? Clint didnt your bring him to test me as a mother?" Y/N asks.

Clint looked at her nervously and rubbed the back of his neck trying to avoid her gaze.

"Yeah..." Clint says.

"Clint!" Y/N yelled and smacked his arm.

She got up and left Clint with the kid and she went home. Clint took the kid home and went home to his wife who was angry.

"Y/N Im so sorry angel. Im sorry. I just didnt know how to ask you." Clint says.

"Clint you should of told me. I love you if you wanted to start a family you had to tell me. We are in this together." Y/N says.

"I know and Im very sorry. I love you please dont leave me." Clint says.

"Leave you? Never. I love you. You really want to start a family with me?" Y/N asks.

"I really do." Clint says.

3 years later

"Daddy! Watch this!" Layla says swinging on the swing.

"Thats my big girl." Clint says.

"You mean our big girl." Y/N says and misses her cheek.

"Yeah our big girl so about that second child we talked about? When do you want to start?" Clint asks.

"Its already started." Y/N says and hands him a positive pregnancy test.

"And I cant wait." Clint says and kisses her forehead.
