A Demon Hahsira? (Kny x reader)

Chapter 10 The Red Light District PT.1

(3rd POV)

Ever since the incident happened it seemed to have changed the poor demon hashira, but of course she would try to hide it, and convince people that she is fine, but no one believed it. Tanjiro was extremely worried about the h/c girl. He spotted her walking around the demon slayer headquarters, and decided to talk to her wanting an answer for her behavior recently. Once he caught up to her he asked if they could go somewhere private.

They went to the demon estate where they could talk. Tanjiro started asking multiple question to the demon hashira. Like, "how come you've been acting weird recently? did something happen? are you okay?" those type of questions. Y/n started processing all the question before taking a deep breathe. She stared at the burgundy haired boy.

"well... let's just say that I met someone last  night that I didn't expect to see..."

You looked down at the floor avoiding eye contact with Tanjiro in deep thought.

(Flashback)

Both you and your 5 year old brother were playing. You guys were now heading back to your house. Your parents went out for some type of business trip(your parent's were also demon slayers) You told your brother that you would be heading out to get food since no one usually watches you guys, and you can take care of yourselves.

(time skip)

you finished getting food, and were on your way back home. you bumped into a man along the way there. He had pale skin, and some really interesting plum red cat like eyes. You apalogized before continuing your way back home. You found it weird that he came from the same direction from your house, so you started getting worried, and rushed back home. Once you got there you called out for your brother, but there was no reponse. You started getting worried, and searched aroudn the house. You finally went to your room, and found him doing something.

You then saw red liquid on the floor, and realized what he was doing. You dropped your bag, and stepped back. now seeing a corpse that your brother was stabbing. He turned around with a knife in his hands. You got a better look at the corpse and realized who is was. it was you very best friend. tears started forming at the corner of your eyes. you were very traumatized from what you are seeing right now.

Tsukasa came up to you have a sinister smile on his face. he hugged you, and petted your hair. You were frozen. you had no clue on what to do right now. the only that came up to your mind was...

KILL...

You pushed Tsukasa to the ground. causing him to drop the knife in his hand. you quickly picked it up before staring down at your brother. he was staring back at you still with a smile on his face.
'Tsukasa... your a PSYCHOPATH!' you mentally said to yourself.
your got on tip of your brother, and started stabbing him multiple times at his chest. your mind was blank and you couldn't stop on what you were doing.

once you were done stabbing your brother you looked at the bloody scene, and started bawling your eyes out. your very own best friend and your now psychotic brother this now dead. you didn't know what to do, nor even know how to explain what happened to your parents. you started hiding the body by throwing them in the river, and cleaning the hole house. ever since then that day has always traumatized you.

(end of flashback)

you haven't realized how long your dazed out until you saw Tanjiro waving his hands in front of you. he asked you what happened, and you just said you were thinking of something.

"Y/n-san?"

"yeah Tanjiro?"

"i just have this one question..."

"what is it?"

"....who did you see last night...?"

"u-uh... oh... well.. uhm..."
(sigh)
"it was my younger twin brother... his name is Tsukasa..."

" what happened to you guys that makes you change?"

"... i think i'll save that story for another time... let's just don't tell anyone. okay?"

"Promise!"

ever since then Tanjiro kept that promise. he still wanted to know what the h/c girl was hiding, but if it's that personal to the girl then he wouldn't push her to tell him. Tanjiro trained and went on mission same with Zenitsu and Inosuke. The demon hashira also trained, and went on mission, but didn't really have to go through hard obstacles like the trio.

(time skip)

Tanjiro was heading to the butterfly mansion after a tiring solo mission he had. once he got there it seemed there was a big problem. One of the hashira, the Sound Hashira was kidnapping two of the girls from the butterfly estate. Kanao was trying to stop him by pulling on the hashira, the other girls also started attacking the hashira begging him to let go. Tanjiro tried to stop the man from head butting him like he did with the wind, but the hashira was to fast he couldn't hit him. the sound hashira known as Tengen Uzui was now in the roof with the two girls.

they were both shouting at each other before Zenitsu and Inosuke came. After their argument/conversation Tengen decided to take the trio instead of the two girls. the four slayers were now outside of the butterfly estate and were discussing on what mission the sound hashira had. They were going to...

The Red Light District

they were all discussing the situation on the whole mission. about Tengen's wives missing blah, blah, blah...after they were done with the plan the slayers parted ways. they had till tomorrow morning to get ready. Tanjiro decided to visit the demon hashira since they haven't chatted in so long, and Nezuko wanted to see her as well. they went to the demon estate, and knocked on the door, it took a moment, but then the Y/n finally opened the door. she let Tanjiro in along with Nezuko in the box. Tanjiro placed down his box before Nezuko can crawling out. Once she got out she went straight to the other demon girl, and hugged her. You were a little hesitant since your were still not used to physical contact, but still hugged back.

you just made dinner, so you offered Tanjiro to eat(Nezuko can't eat so...) it was a quiet dinner, so Tanjiro thought of a conversation. He really wanted to know about your brother, and what makes him change you. once he asked that you froze. you though about it, then decided to tell him since the truth will have to com out soon.

"ok Tanjiro, so it happened a long time ago when i was 4 or 5. this was all before i got attacked by Kibitsuji. my parents left me and Tsukuba at home to do work. i was getting food and was heading back home. once i got there i looked for my brother, i found him, but he was stabbing something or more like someone with a knife. i was shocked on what he did. he stabbed my very own best friend. i couldn't think or do anything. my body just moved by itself and I ended up.... killing my brother..."

Tanjiro was shocked, but the realization hits him.

"wait... if you killed him.. how is he still alive?"

"well let's just say that he was turned into a demon, and i have a feeling it was Kibutsuji's doing."

time passed and tanjiro and Nezuko left the estate and went to where they stay at. Tanjiro went to bed same with everyone else. Before Tanjiro could fall asleep. the last though he had was...

'How come Y/n-san had to go through so much... what did she do to deserve this?'
