♡︎ -------------------- It was around 8:53 a.m and Minho was was walking in a semi-loud crosswalk. Many people were walking the same way, people he normally didn't see. He got nervous so he started looking through his phone.
He tried to find a specific contact name, ah, there it is. At the very top of his contact list, Hubby💜
Me: Am I doing this right? I'm almost there but It's crowded here :( Baby? Helloooo? Help meeeee :((( seen 8:56 a.m
Since he didn't respond, I decided to call him multiple times until he responded. He kept on declining every call that went through. Until, when I thought all hope was lost, he finally gave in.
"What do you want, idiot." The tiresome voice demandingly asks.
"I kind of think I'm lost, can you help me?" I say while closing my eyes and bringing the phone closer to my ear.
"This is not the first time you've been there. Its a tall yellow and red building, it'll be easy to spot." He explains while I hear oil sizzling from the other side.
"Thank you! I love you, I'll bring home some fruits and sweets Seungie."
"Yeah yeah, they better be strawberry or I'll punch you," Seungmin says avoiding the 'ily' bit.
"Where's my 'I love you too'?" I ask mainly to tease him.
"..." He stays silent, not as in a tsundere or a shy way. But silence as in a 'what the hell are you' way.
He sighs and says it but changing the subject quickly but somewhat discreetly, "I love you. Strawberries, alright? And some eggs, we're running out."
He hangs up immediately, but it didn't matter anymore. Because my search for the tall yellow and red building continues.
I follow the people who looked like they were going the same way as I was. Which is what I should've done before calling and bothering Seungmin.
I walk for a few more minutes and I finally reach my destination. I look at my watch, 9:02 p.m, just in time as well. (well, 2 minutes late but who's counting)
I hear the bells ringing and children screaming. They all come running out of the building group by group. I search for my person and it wasn't going well.
Until I see a tiny human in a yellow dress run up to me and yell, "APPA!!!" She jumps on to me and I spin her around, "There's my little kitten, you look so pretty today!"
"Appa! You came this time!" She says as we start walking home.
"Of course, anything for my little girl," I say as I pinch her pink chubby cheeks, she giggles and smiles at me. She had a lovely smile, just like Seungmin.
I put her down and she holds my hands while looking at me. I smile and asked, "What did you do today? Did you make any new friends?"
"No, but there is a new student! I tried taking to them today but they couldn't understand me," She explains while pouting near the end of her sentence.
"Ah. What's their name?" I ask, arching my brow in pure curiosity.
"I think it was...uhhh...No-ah Bang? He has a very weird name. Is my name weird Appa?"
"Of course not! You have the prettiest name out of everyone!" I say in a playful tone, she starts giggling and holding on to my hand. Her hand was still very tiny compared to mine.
We walk along the crosswalk when crossing the road and ended up at the supermarket.
"Lets go inside and buy some candy, shall we?" I say in a hushed, sneaky voice.
She nods her head vigorously in excitement.
"But you can not speak a single word to papa about this, got it?" I say while putting a finger in front of my mouth and smiling.
"Okay, Appa!" She said while holding a finger in front of her mouth, doing the same thing I did. She then proceeds to jump up and down while squealing.
What? I'm allowed to give my child candy, Seungmin will receive his strawberries anyway. -------------------- ❤︎
