We arrive at our apartment and I place everything down, not realizing that our fingers were still interlocked. Actually, I did notice it but I chose not to let it go.
"You really didn't have to," Seungmin said after the (comfortable) silence on the way here. I could tell he didn't want to let go of our hands either...cute.
"Seungmo, I promised that i'd help with the groceries." I whined while putting the goods away into the fridge.
"Thank you, -nho." He responds, kissing my eye in the middle of his sentence, bending down just a little bit even though he was only a few centimeters taller.
I loved the fact that Seungmin was becoming more clingy and affectionate. He lets go and walks out of the kitchen, though his presence still linger in the air.
Little did he know that I was making preparations for the upcoming proposal while he was gone. I plan to take him to our old high school to reminisce our memories.
Then I'd take him to his favorite place, the park where he told me that we were having a girl. It was also the place where he told me his dreams, his problems, and when he told me that he loved me.
So I thought that it'd be a good idea to propose there with a small picnic. And Aera could come in with the flower petals and warm hugs.
I smile to myself after putting all of the groceries away and making my way to Seungmin.
I open the door and I don't see him in the room. I call out his name a few times before looking for him. I slowly walk towards the walk-in closet.
And there he was. Laying on the ground, silently crying(?), with a big box in his lap and a letter in his hand.
Seungmin soon brings his hand down and bites his lip. He glances up and meets my eye, he starts bursting out in laughter upon seeing me.
"Hey...uh you okay Seung?" I ask while sitting down in front of him. I was very confused to what made the younger laugh so hard.
He could barely make out words, "This pfft- mE and you when aHhaha." I pat down his back to calm him down and I whisper some 'take deep breaths'. Seeing him laugh made me wanna laugh as well, even when I didn't know what was going on.
I grab one of the letters assuming it was okay and I take a look at what it said:
Dear, Kitty
Did you hear? There is going to be another collab next week, and I'm not ready to meet you again.
During your performance, I didn't dare meet with your eyes.
PFFFT- This was clearly Seungmins old handwriting and it made me choke while laughing too hard.
"Kitty? Why didn't you use their actual name?" I say, wiping away actual tears. Seungmin was rolling on the floor while trying to organize the dates.
