'She's got vultures in her hair
And blood and feathers;
They are everywhere
Dead mound, drunken sleep;
I got this porno that you burn
I'll be everywhere you turn

Baby, there is a room
Full of whores and death and you
I am waiting in that room
I am waiting, here for you
That's where life begins
She said,"I want it now."
You don't listen to what I say
Just masturbate your life away'

        Hera awoke first, pressed to an unfamiliar body, her mind still reeling from last nights events while he tossed in his sleep.
She knew well Sirius had a comfortable bed, but last night she'd slept very peacefully — perhaps it was to do with her tiredness, or to do with the inevitable comfort of another body lying beside her...

Her hands flew to her hips out of instinct, checking for the tell-tale bruises that she felt she would always have, even nearly two years after that horrible New Year's party.
She knew Sirius would never do that to her; the chances of them ever sharing a bed after last night was near impossible. It had nothing to do with Sirius and everything to do with the distress that had resided after that one night.

Hera felt him stir beside her, and a sudden wave of guilt swept over her — she knew he would never do that to her, but how was he to know what she was thinking? For nearly a year after that New Year's party, Hera had thought herself to be fine — she wasn't particularly worried about who it was or what had happened to her attacker. Just minutes after those photographs were released and spread all over the front page, Hera had endured a constant headache, and every emotion that had gone through her head at the time of her assault remained with her even now. She was right about one thing; she never would rid of what he had done to her...

"We didn't?— " Hera couldn't bring herself to ask that question, feeling incredibly stupid now that she had actually said it.

His eyebrows furrowed, and Sirius groaned,
"I don't know whether to be insulted or not... you'd definitely still feel it if we were— "

Hera laughed, relieved. A look of regret, however, played on Sirius' features, and she figured he felt uncomfortable with what he had said. She, of course, knew it was a joke — what could be more laughable than the idea that they would ever possibly sleep together in the other sense?
