'Crash and burn, all the stars explode tonight
How'd you get so desperate?
How'd you stay alive?
Help me, please burn the sorrow from your eyes
Come on, be alive again — don't lay down and die.

We're all watching you cry to the angels and let them swallow you.
Oceans of angels, oceans of stars
Down by the sea is where you drown your scars
And the sun goes down, I watch you slip away
The sun goes down, I walk into the waves

And I knew love would tear you apart
Oh, and I knew — the darkest secret of your heart
I can't be near you, the light just radiates
I can't be near you...'

The three things Harry Potter had learnt from his sister's wedding had proved invaluable to his personhood upon his return to school.

The first lesson being that with a small amount of hair potion, he could scrub up quite nicely.
He'd even go as far as to say he was handsome, at the best of times.

The second that was love was a risk worth taking, no matter how unconventional it may seem to begin with.

The power of love was something that had been demonstrated to him many times in his life; through his parent's sacrifice, and the care his sister had shown him in the fifteen years since that ill-fated Halloween night.

However, the only love he'd ever known had come from sacrifice.
He didn't know how to translate that into loving another, much less if he'd be a good partner.

The final lesson he'd drawn from their wedding was that he felt a great deal more approachable with a drink in his hand and a few more already in his system.

It was far easier to forget about the impossible standards he was held to during such uneasy times and his perpetual role in Voldemort's demise if he was drunk.
However, this only served to make him more aware of people watching him.

He'd been getting rather significant coverage in the Daily Prophet, which hadn't made him feel any more comfortable at school.
In turn, this resulted in more drinks to ignore their stares.
