Chapter 31 first flight

Mia: It was almost 9:00 am and I was still really tired so was my daughter she was sleeping on me as I carried her in my arms with one bag on my shoulder and the other in my free hand, I walked up to the guards or whatever gave them my bags so they could check over them than I took them with me to the airplane. Mia: I heard the captain come over the intercom saying we needed to put our seatbelts on , so that's what I did and I told rose to put her seatbelt on , and she did they I sat back in my seat closing my eyes rose: mommy look I say Mia: I peel open one eye seeing the view the plane was about to take off it was getting ready to so I gripped the my arm rest and the seat next to me rose was doing great she was looking at her iPad not even paying attention to the plane and she wasn't really fussing which was something I was grateful for but I on the other hand didn't really go in well with heights I'm afraid of them so I kept my eyes closed the entire time not opening them , than I felt someone sit down in the seat next to me so I let go of it and gripped my other arm rest johnny: not a fan of airplanes I'm guessing I ask all friendly smiling at her Mia: I hear a familiar voice and I peel one eye open and I look over seeing my long time friend from like 10 years ago johnny I say in disbelief johnny: that's me I chuckle Mia: I how are you here I say still scared from the plane tho johnny: well I know how we haven't talked in a couple years and I wanted to spend some time with you , and my experience from a show I looked up you're phone number than I found out you were leaving to go to Florida for a while so I bought a plane ticket as soon as I could and now , I'm here I smirk Mia: I why just so you could spend time with me I give him a look johnny: oh come on doll face you know you wanna spend time with me I smile Mia: alright fine I say and I look away as I blush johnny: don't worry I didn't see you blush Mia: I smack his arm playfully johnny: oh and who's this sweet angel I say motioning to the little girl in a separate seat in front of us Mia: that's my daughter I smile johnny: you have a daughter I say surprised Mia: yeah it's a long story but her name is rose I smile johnny: oh that reminds me of my little girls name as well Mia: wait you have kids I say shocked johnny: I chuckle yeah I do 2 actually a little girl and boy I smile Mia: what are their names I ask happily johnny: my girls name is Lilly rose and my sons name is jack Mia: awww I smile that's so cute I love their names I say johnny: thanks I say shyly anyways what about you where's you're husband or boyfriend Mia: actually he's neither I had a one night and I ended up getting pregnant looking down ashamed johnny: oh that's terrible I'm so sorry love Mia: nah it's fine I don't mind it , besides being a mother has given me a new perspective on life I like caring for and being there for rose I smile she brings me a lot of happiness johnny: I bet I say than I look at rose Mia: what about you with you're kids johnny: oh they bring me so much joy I love them to bits I smile I'd give up my life for them Mia: me to for rose I would as well johnny: you're a great mother Mia: thanks I'm sure but I'm cut off by rose saying my name and I look at her what honey I say rose: I'm tired I yawn Mia: alright I pull out a blanket from my bag and I toss it over to her rose: thanks I smile than I lay down in my seat putting the blanket over myself my eyes dart to this unknown man sitting next to my mom mom I say Mia: yeah rose: who's that I ask Mia: oh how rude of me this is Johnny a very old and good friend of mine I smile rose: oh ummm hi sir I say giving him a shy smile johnny: hi sweetheart and you can call me johnny I smile rose: ok than I close my eyes. Mia: I have my jacket over me and I close my eyes johnny: here lay on me I say softly not to wake rose Mia: you sure I ask Johnny: yes I am Mia: ok then I lay my head on his shoulder and I drift off to sleep.
