"It's a no." What the hell?
Ilang beses na ba niyang kinumbinsi si Mr. Billion na aalis siya ngayon kasama si Larra? At palaging "it's a no" ang kaniyang sagot rito.
She rolled her eyes and then back to her room, thinking the best alibi to make him say yes. Larra and her need to meet this day, it's because of her house. Napasabunot siya sa sariling buhok saka lumabas at tiningnan kung naroon paba sa living room si Mr. Billion.
She smirked when she didn't see him in the living room, kaya naman patakbo itong pumunta sa garage to find an extra car for her to use.
"Oh-ohh" Sabay napa atras na sabi niya ng makitang nasa garahe si Mr. Billion at nakangisi sakaniya.
"Where do you think you're going?" He said while smirking in front of her. She cross her both arms and face him, look at him directly in his eyes at the same time.
"You can't do this to me! Ano gagawin mo akong alipin mo? What the hell Mr. Billion this is not-
"Shut the hell up woman, this is for your own good. You're living? Then I'll accompany you, you can't go anywhere without me."
"I will not let you go, without me understand? Now go... stay in your room, do whatever you want aside from going out." Tinabig ni Anasthishia ang kamay niya ng hawakan siya nito sa mukha.
Mas masahol ka pa sa hayop!
"I'll just meet Larra near the mall what's the problem with that?!" He gritted his teeth and avoid her gaze so that he can calm himself.
"What's the big deal if I said no? As I said a while ago, you can't go without me. Then if you are in hurry and maybe Larra is waiting for you till now, you should go with me hmm? How was that Anasthishia?" Gigil na gigil siyang pumasok sa backseat at pinagbagsakan ito ng pinto.
But Mr. Billion open the door and face her with a mad emotion. "Get out, I'm not your driver, sit in front."
"What's the difference?" Naiinis siyang pumasok sa harapan, nakakunot ang noo.
" What?!" She ask when Mr. Billion look at her and her side.
"Seatbelt" Argghhh! He's wasting my precious time!
"Okay na?" He smiled a bit and drove off to the restaurant near the mall.
"Just wait for me here and I'll get back once, I'm done." Hindi na niya hinintay pang nagsalita si Mr. Billion at daretso nang pumasok sa loob ng restaurant kung nasaan si Larra at Mr. Garcia.
"You're with?" Pumiling si Anasthishia, nabaling sa katabi ni Larra ang tingin.
"You must be Mr. Garcia?" Tumango si Mr. Garcia sakaniya saka ngumiti.
"You're a true beauty like the other people already meet you. And it's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Luyan." Nagtataka naman siya kung bakit kilala siya nito.
Mr. Garcia is an early 30's pero makikita mo pa rin ang kakisigan nitong mukhang nasa 20's palang.
"How do y-
"Your famous known doctor in the US, Australia even here in the Philippines. It was announced in national television Ms. and in manila, your Billboard posted everywhere, together with the professional doctors out there." She appreciates what Mr. Garcia said and smiled.
"Thank you for that Mr. Garcia, it's my pleasure to meet a known Architect too." Mr. Garcia smiled at her and discuss some of the designs she wanted for her house.
"Maybe we'll meet when it is under construction, 2 weeks from now?" She nodded to him and look at his portfolio.
"You did all of these?" He nodded and smile a little before sipping on his coffee.
"Together with my wife." That made Anasthishia and Larra shocked.
"An Architect and engineer? Wow" Sambit ni Larra na hindi makapaniwala.
"I'm an engineer too I studied after taking the architect but my wife wants us to work together even though I can do it alone." Anasthishia claps both hands to show how amazed she is to Mr. Garcia and his wife.
"Where is she? Why you meet us alone?" ngumiti siya ng mapait saka pumiling.
"She's gone with our child, 5 years ago. That's all the designs and ideas we shared doing all our projects and the black portfolio is my projects without her. If you want to see it, I can leave it to you and get it when we meet again." Napatampal siya sa sariling noo saka tiningnan ng taimtim si Mr. Garcia.
"I'm sorry for your lost Mr. Garcia." He smiled and she can see it's...a fake one.
"It's okay...my life is goes on, wala naman mangyayari kung magmumukmok lang ako." She smiled to him and patted his shoulder.
"That's good to know. I'll take this one, saka 'yung pinapadagdag ko nalang." Mr. Garcia nodded and stand up.
"That would be all for today Ms. Luyan." She made a shake hands and leave after Mr. Garcia.
"Grabe pinagdaanan niya, you're leaving already?" Tanong ni Larra ng makalabas sila sa restaurant.
"I am. Mr. Billion is with me, can you ask your brother to fetch you?" Pahinging paumanhin ni Anasthishia sakaniya.
"But Anna...you did promised with me today we'll go shopping after meeting Mr. Garcia." Heto na nga ba ang inaalala niya kanina pa. Kaso...bantay sarado siya kay Mr. Billion na kadarating lang sakanilang harapan.
"Get in Anasthishia." Napabuntong hininga siya ng makitang nagpout sa kaniyang harapan si Larra. Hindi naman kasi makaka alis si Larra na mag-isa kaya wala siyang choice kung hindi ang samahan siya. Papalapit palang si Anasthishia sa, sasakyan niya ng mapansin na niyang mukhang wala sa mood si Mr. Billion. Bumuntong hininga siya bago kinausap.
"I promised to Larra well go shopping for today. No need to drive us off there, well take taxi. Bye!" Napatampal sa manibela ng sasakyan si Mr. Billion ng makitang, tumatakbo na nag dalawa palayo sakaniya.
"Ano yon?" nakangising sambit ni Larra ng makasakay sila ng taxi.
"He doesn't want me to go with you if he's not around. He's crazy."
"Baka, crazy in love with you?" Natahimik si Larra sa pagtawa ng tingnan siya nito ng masama.
"Shut up Larra, hindi ko pa alam kung ano kakalabasan ng pagtakas ko sakaniya. Baka hindi na ako non payagan lumabas ulit." Nahilot niya ang sariling noo sa sakit ng ulo.
"We can go back, Anna..." Tiningnan niya ng malumanay si Larra saka pumiling.
"No, narito na tayo. I can handle that problem of mine forget about it." She's being soft with Larra sometimes dahil rin sa pagka-understanding nito.
"Pero-
"Lars, I said I can handle it, okay? No need to worry about it." Tumango naman si Larra saka siya niyakap.
"You're being clingy again, find a lover!" Larra shook her head and smiled.
"Kuya said it's not the right time yet." Konti-konti nalang talag mabubugbog na niya si Larry sa sobrang paghigpit kay Larra.
"That's not your brother's decision common Larra! You are old enough to make decision for your own life." Ngumiti nalang siya ng bahagya saka tumango.
"Oh, shit that's, Mr. Billion car!"
