Two months that's how long it's been since he left the rangers. After 6 long tours he was back in Chicago and 'safe'. He often far from safe as if there was always someone or something watching his every move.
In the two months he's been back he's done nothing but drink and fight. He rarely slept as the nightmares kept him awake. Every time he had a nightmare he would go to the bathroom pick up a razor and draw two lines. It was what brought him back to reality. He felt guilty for doing it but he couldn't wouldn't do anything about it.
Him and his sister had been staying in an apartment provided by rangers as a thank you for their 'service'.It wasn't big, two bedrooms two bathrooms a tiny ',living room'and a kitchen. He was grateful nonetheless.
Every time he went to the bathroom he avoided looking in the mirror, he didn't want to see the many scars he had from the gunshot wound stabs and many other things.
Other than the scars, he looked like just another guy in Chicago for the most part. He had brunette hair, one blue eye (right side) and one green eye (left side), shor military steel hair and freckles at over his face and body. He was tall standing at 6'4. He was rather pale almost as white as snow.
He wanted to change his way of living he was tired of it. He wanted to help others he wanted a normal life.
He was never granted that in his childhood. His father an alcoholic and his mother a drug addict. We will find out more about this later.
He didn't realise that he would have a chance of that soon.
