Amity's pov
We were going out for dinner after oden has graduated top of his class again. I was happy for him and hoped I could live up to mom and dad's expectations like him. But then someone yelled "watch out" I look over and see a bolt of green lightning coming at me. I thought it was it for me but oden pushed me out of the way and he was struck in the side of his face. I could see the worry in his eye as he was sent off the cliff into the boiling sea. I start running to the cliff with Emira and edric behind me as we then see him splash into the sea. "ODEN" we yell as we cry I look back and see my parents just standing there, doing nothing. Just standing there staring at the cliff. Why didn't they do anything. Oden is dead now, all because of a miss fire of magic. Because of me.
4 years later
Today was supposed to be a normal day but today is the day that oden died six years ago. I was going to melancholy hill but then my dad yelled for me "Amity to my office NOW" I then ran to his office and he looked really mad for some reason "what is the problem father" I asked "Well amity one of my business partners has died" he said "That is tragic, what happened" I asked "His house was burned down and all that was left was the words 'you know what you did, come forth and admit your sins'. I think the person that killed him has personal grudges with me" father said What does that mean. What did the assailant mean. "Who do you think the message is for" I ask "I think the assailant is coming after me for ruining there business perhaps, so they might come after you so be careful" father said I nod "yes sir, anything I should look for" I ask "Blue flames" father said I nod and go out of his office. I then continue through my day and go to the hill and sit on a bench that Willow made for me to sit on when I'm here. "Hey oden, it's me again. It's been six years. I'm about to go into hexide like you were. I hope you are doing good and I hope we will be safe from this person attacking our family." I said I stood up and turned around and I see a person standing there with a red and gold hoodie, ripped blue jeans and a grey shirt. All I could see is a single golden eye with two gold earrings. "Can I help you" I ask He raises his hand and blue flames surround us. I grab my wand quick but he shoots it out of my hand with Oracle magic. "Just let me talk" he said He had a soothing voice but it was also scratchy kinda "what are you going to do to me. Kill me like you did my fathers business partners. You know who my father is" I yelled "Yes I do, he's the reason your brother died" he said I then glare at him, "no he's not. It was a stray magic blast" I said "But I saw it all, he paid them to shoot that bolt of lightning at him" he said I still don't believe him. "Why would he do that, he's his son a prodigy" I yelled again. "True, he was top of his class, he was destined to get in the emperors coven. But what use was he to his parents if he didn't want to do what his parents wanted him to do" he said What is this person talking about. "Who are you" I ask He laughed a little, "well minty, why don't you ask your dear old brother" he said as he took off his hood I held my hands to my mouth and cried. It was him. Oden,

"Oden, it's you" I said as I ran and hugged him "Yes little bean it is" he laughed "Where have you been. Why didn't you come back." I asked I heard a sigh and as I looked up I could see a pained look. "I'm sorry amity but I couldn't come back, not after what I found out what our parents did" he said kneeling down to my height. "I get that but you could have at least came and told me your alive. Em and Ed have been kinda sad and I just felt like it was my fault" amity said "I know and I'm sorry for that but then father and mother would have been suspicious. I can't come back. Not until I finish" he said getting up. "Finish what" I ask "Destroying everything our parents have worked for" he said putting his hood on I then hear my mother. "AMITY" she yelled "Don't tell them about me, you will all see me soon" he says as he puts a mask on and lowers the barrier I could see him glare at mother. "What are you doing with my daughter you fiend." She said as she drew a spell circle "Is that what you thought oden was" he said I could see mother flinch as she used Oracle magic to summon a spirit and oden made a spirit that looked like his younger self "Tell them the truth mother" his ghost said Moms ghost attacked him but before Oden was touched he vanished. Mother ran and hugged me. "What did he say to you" she asked "The rat tried to get some information from me but I held out" I said I did what Oden said as I lied. 'See you soon Oden'
