From that day on he learned to trust me an expected his very own sandwich. As the days and months went on I watched Otis find a girlfriend they would play tag for hours an Otis would offer her some of his sandwich. She liked that a lot. She was a lovely little brown squirrel with a bushy tail so I named her precious. She liked Otis a lot. Through the weeks I watched them play and as the seasons changed they disappear more and more. So I took a walk deep in the forest the colors were changing. The moss hung lower and lower the leaves were a dark red. I looked towards the trees and saw a nest it was Otis and Precious nest. They had three baby squirrels with look of wonder and delight. I was proud and I said to Otis do you still like peanut butter and jelly? His ears heard me and ran my way. I gave him my last peanut butter and jelly sandwich that day. He looked at me in loving thoughts and scrambled up the tree. He knew he had found a friend in me, and I will check up on him someday.
