"How did you find me?" Ares asks as he walks over to a fridge that is laying against the ground. He throws open the fridge door, completely detaching it from its hinges and kneels to grab a beer. "And how did you show me those memories?"
"Ahh," Hunter replies, sitting on the couch facing the gaping hole in the opposite wall. He lights a cigarette he found on the ground with his finger, "that's a bit complicated."
Ares turns around and chucks a beer bottle full force at the wall near Hunter, who casually looks at the beer pouring down the wall for a second before turning back to Ares.
"Tell me." Ares growls.
"That act may work with the insects that call this place home, but do not forget who you're talking to." Hunter pauses for a moment, examining his brother. "What do you remember?"
"I remember pieces. More memories come in bursts. I can remember what I think is the time after Zeus defeated Cronos. But after that it's all a blur." Ares says as he pulls up a chair to sit across from Hunter. "Did you do this to me?"
"Seriously? What's with the distrust? You try to kill your siblings one time and suddenly you're a 'danger'." Hunter scoffs. "No. I didn't do this, but I know who did."
Ares sits forward in his chair. "Who?"
"Zeus." Hunter pauses, waiting for his brother to react. "He's the reason we can't remember who we are. He trapped us in a cycle where we are all reborn without our memories or our powers each time one of us causes a global calamity."
"Zeus." Ares replies, chugging his beer and throwing it on the floor. "I'm going to tear him apart when I see him."
Hunter grins as his brother goes to grab another beer from the refrigerator's corpse, his smile disappearing just as quickly when Ares turns around. "Not that I wouldn't enjoy seeing that, and trust me, I would, right now I need your help with something."
"And why would I help you?"
"Because it's a win-win. You get to kill Zeus, and I finally get to take my rightful spot as king of the gods."
Ares takes another big chug of his beer. After destroying another bottle, he looks at Hunter for a second, weighing his options. "What's your plan?"
"It's simple." Hunter says as a smile sweeps across his face. "We are going to erase them from existence. Permanently."
"How do you plan on doing that? By now I'm assuming the band is back together?"
"Right you are, but you know our brothers, constantly comparing their egos." Hunter says, taking a long puff from his cigarette and blowing the air in Ares' direction. "We're still here, so they haven't screwed up yet, but they will. So, we need a way to prevent ourselves from being erased when they do."
"And how do you plan on doing that?"
Hunter stands up and walks over to the hole, he looks down the street at the ensuing battle.
"Well first, we need to juice up." Hunter says as he turns back to Ares, who is getting up to look at the glorious opportunity in front of them. An evil snarl spreads across their faces. "Let's go have us some fun."
The two gods leap down to the street, a gust of wind rushes down the street towards the soldiers.
"I will never get their desire to kill each other." Hunter remarks as they walk closer to the group.
"You will never understand the beauty of war, Hades. You must be cunning. Determined. Vicious. War is not for the weak."
"Are you saying you actually admire them?" Hunter asks, giving his brother a confused look.
