CHAPTER 25

LAOBANG'S POV

After a long trip in car handling with noisy girls deciding to have a carpool, we finally reach our destination. If it wasn't expensive enough the trip itself, now we had to stop so that we buy clothing able to handle the extreme cold temperatures in here.

-Sana: This is too much... But I'm excited as well, it's my first time seeing snow in person (smiles)
-Jeongyeon: (throws a snowball at her)
-Sana: Ung... Jeongyeonie~ (pouts)
-Jeongyeon: What? Now you also tasted it for the first time (laughs)
-Jihyo: Girls, we don't have time to waste playing with-(someone hits her) Who was it?
-Genius: Don't look at me, it wasn't me (srughs and moves away revealing Nayeon)
-Nayeon: (nervous laugh) You see... It was a joke, Jihyo.
-Jihyo: Yah! (chases Nayeon)
-Nayeon: Lao save your girlfriend for God's sake! (running away)
-Lao: This is gonna be hard... (sighs)

We keep on walking around until we find what looks like a ski slope. We try to enter but there's such a huge cue at the entrance. Is it actually a good idea? I can almost confirm that most of us will lose their time skiing instead of looking for the ice queen.

-Lao: Please, don't forget what's our purpose in here. We didn't come here to play, okay? (serious)
-Chaeyoung: Of course (smiles) Don't worry.
-Jeongyeon: I'll behave, but I can't say the same for Sana, Momo and Nayeon (srughs)
-Momo: Yah! Why am I suddenly involved?
-Lao: I don't care who's the responsible, just focus. Now let's get going...

I keep on walking while listening them mumbling about my sudden cold attitude. But what can I do? We have no option, we are running out of time. And then there's the mystery of what will happen once we gather all the pages.

-Nayeon: Are you okay?
-Lao: Yeah.
-Nayeon: Don't lie to me, I know you too well (smiles) What's going on?
-Lao: Nothing, I promise.
-Nayeon: You were too rude with the girls back there... Its obvious that something is going on.
-Lao: You know what's going on... I don't want to lose you and they are just behaving like kids! Gosh. Can't they just focus on what we are doing?!
-Nayeon: Lao-
-Lao: And then, how am I supposed to treat them well if I know that there's the possibility of them disappearing or whatever when we gather the pages?! I don't have the right to be nice to them (sighs) Sorry, I'm just tired of all of this.
-Nayeon: (pats your back) It's okay, you are keeping too much to yourself (smiles) This is something we are doing as a team, you don't have to carry the responsibility all by yourself.
-Lao: (takes a deep breath) I know, I'm sorry for behaving like this. I'm just worried.
-Nayeon: (forces a smile) It'll be okay, trust me.
-Lao: (smiles back at her) No matter what, we'll be together.
-Nayeon: For sure (smiles)

After paying the entrance to the ski slope, we all divide into groups. I decide to look by myself around, and I end up entering the cafeteria. Although she's supposed to be an ice queen, everyone needs warmness, right?

I decide to order a hot chocolate but when I'm trying to find a table, all of them are occupied. I'm about to leave outside when someone pulls me and says that I can sit with her.

-Lao: Oh, uhm... Thank you.
-Girl: Your welcome (smiles) It's so cold outside, you know?
-Lao: Yeah... Its horrible (smiles)
-Girl: You are supposed to have a hot chocolate, not a chocolate ice cream. That's why you should have it in here (smiles)
-Lao: Thank you once again (smiles) My name is Feng Laobang.
-Girl: Oh, that sounds Chinese.
-Lao: I'm from Taiwan (smiles) You?
-Girl: I'm Kim Dahyun, from Korea (smiles)
-Lao: Nice meeting you (smiles)
-Dahyun: Same (smiles) But this is so far away from Taiwan, did you come alone?
-Lao: Oh well I-
-Nayeon: He didn't, he came with me (serious face)
-Dahyun: I see... You are?
-Nayeon: Im Nayeon, his GIRLFRIEND.
-Dahyun: Kim Dahyun, nice to meet you (smiles)
-Lao: What are you doing here?
-Nayeon: I thought that you shouldn't go around alone because you might need help. I looked for you everywhere and it results that you were in here having a hot chocolate with another girl (pissed)
-Lao: No, no, it's not what you think it is... Right?
-Dahyun: Yeah, we weren't doing anything you might think we were doing (chuckles) I was curious about you being in here, I'm sure that there's ski slopes in Taiwan as well.
-Lao: We are looking for an ice queen (smiles) Like Elsa from Frozen. You know her?
-Dahyun: Of course I know! I'm usually compared to her due to my white hair and pale skin (smiles) Do you think we look alike?
-Nayeon: Totally (sits next to you and sips your hot chocolate) Maybe you are the one who we are looking for (jokes)
-Dahyun: What are you looking her for?
-Lao: We have a mission in where we have to gather several princesses and collect some book pages (smiles) My girlfriend is the Sleepy Beauty.
-Dahyun: Cool (laughs) And you are the Prince?
-Lao: (surprised) Yeah, that's it! How do you know?!
-Dahyun: (srughs) I play this games with my little cousins a lot... It was kinda expected. But don't you think that you are kinda old for all of this?
-Nayeon: We should had imagined that she wasn't taking us seriously (sighs)
-Lao: (sighs) Yeah... We are way too innocent for this.
-Dahyun: Hmm... And those pages you mentioned are part of the game too?
-Lao: It's not a game.
-Nayeon: The pages are like this one's... (sighs and shows her) But you wouldn't understand it.
-Dahyun: (gasps) I have the same ones! But with Frozen pages!
-Lao: Eh?
-Dahyun: I always thought that the pages were in my room because someone decided to do the joke of my looks (surprised)
-Nayeon: Well, this is totally unexpected we found her real quick (chuckles)
-Lao: We gotta have a talk, Dahyun (smiles)
