CHAPTER 30

LAOBANG'S POV

We are currently on a plane back to Taiwan, it's been around a week and a half since we separated. I can't wait to see Nayeon again and be with her, we have all the pages.

Whatever it happens, we'll face it together. I look at Mina and Tzuyu peacefully sleeping so I decide to imitate them. The time flew faster than us and we finally arrived to Taiwan.

In the airport we hired a taxi to bring us to my house. We asked him to hurry as much as possible, but something happens the moment I see my house.

I look at Mina and Tzuyu and both of them are paralysed. I get out of the car which stopped moving as well, the birds aren't flying in the sky. And there's no breeze hitting my face. What the hell is going on?

My phone starts vibrating, it's the only thing moving. I take it and discover a new message from Origin. I hesitate to open it, but I end up doing it anyway.

"I'm sorry, you solved the game but it took you way too much... Game over"

-Lao: No, no, no, no,.... This can't be happening... No!

I run towards my house which is far away and start looking for Nayeon once I arrive. But none of them are in there... Rush back to the taxi where the only person left is the taxi driver. Where are the girls?

I run desperately around while calling their names but nothing happens. Then I decide to head to my room where all the pages are magically placed about my desk.

-Lao: What the hell...

My phone starts vibrating once again because of another message from Origin.

"The origin is placed right in front of you, how does it feel? Getting flashbacks from your first adventure, right?"

"Tell me, what are you gonna do now, wanderbook? Start from zero in princessland? You know that she can only exist in there"

As if I would... Wait, what if the girls are now in princessland? Have they been dragged inside because they belong to that world, or what?

That can't be possible, there's another them inside the book already. But then... How the hell can I take Nayeon back?! All of them have their respectives life in here, how can I make them all return?

I take my phone and send a message to the horrible and annoying origin. I ask him to have a direct conversation when suddenly, a some kind of hole is done in the wall and it sucks the pages inside. I jump without hesitating into de hole, but then I bump into something.

I rub my face and realize that I bumped into a some kind of purple floor. I race my face and meet with some kind of guy sitting in a table while revising the pages.

-Lao: Hey! Don't touch that... Those pages are very important! Don't do anything with them.
-Guy: Shhh... I'm trying to read peacefully.
-Lao: Who the hell are you?! And where are we?!
-Guy: You are really noisy, has anyone ever told you that?
-Lao: I need to know where the hell am I, and why do you have my pages (serious)
-Guy: (sighs) You asked to talk with me, didn't you?
-Lao: Eh? You are Origin?
-Guy: (smiles) Origin itself right in front of you.
-Lao: Oh... (smiles and jumps to hit him) Are you aware of all the pain you caused us?! Bring everyone back!
-Origin: (runs away) Relax, relax... There's a good explanation to everything that happened (smiles)
-Lao: I don't fucking care about whatever explanation it has. I want Nayeon and the girls back to their usual life without any risk of disappearing (pissed)
-Origin: And what will happen with the poor Nayeon waiting for Laobang to return? (signals to the page) Humans have a short life, but fictional characters live forever. She'll suffer miserably while waiting for an eternity for you to return.
-Lao: She... No, that can't be happening, Nayeon has been with me all the time. Don't play with my head!
-Origin: Sure... If you think so, then who's this girl? (opens a hole where there's a Nayeon crying) She's waiting for you.

I gulp and get closer to the hole, it's true that she's Nayeon and that she's crying. But she isn't my Nayeon, she's not my girlfriend... I can feel it inside.

-Origin: The hole is opened, you are free to get inside to comfort her if you want (smiles)
-Lao:I... No! I'm not leaving this place until you tell where are we. Plus, I will only leave with my girlfriend.
-Origin: You are seeing her in there, are you blind?
-Lao: You perfectly know what I mean, idiot!
-Origin: (sighs) You are annoying, what a horrible wanderbook.
-Lao: What's that thing of the wanderbook?!
-Origin: Huh? You haven't realised yet? (laughs)
-Lao: What?
-Origin: You yourself are a fictional character! (laughs hard) Your supposed to be reality is just another story, this is the story of the wanderbook.
-Lao: Huh?! (jawdrops) What about my family?! Is it fake as well?
-Origin: Well, they aren't fake... Laobang, you are the favorite character of the little Heejin (opens another hole) See? She's sleeping after her mom read her your story (smiles) Books are emotionally linked with their owners, that's why in your story she's represented as your younger sister.
-Lao: That can't be real! It's impossible for something like that to happen (fall on my knees) I can't be a fictional character.
-Origin: The negation is a first phase, don't worry you'll eventually accept it (smiles)
-Lao: Then, what the hell is the princess book?! If my reality is another book, what the hell is the other book.
-Origin: Well, in every chapter of your book, you are supposed to be dragged into a different book every time. However, you fucking broke the whole time line when you fell in love with Nayeon.
-Lao: What?! My mind can't take that much information (sighs)
-Origin: Your reality stopped moving, right? Time magically stopped...
-Lao: Yeah...
-Origin: It happened because you are stuck in Fairytales (smiles) Heejin can't turn the page because you are still in princessland chapter.
